Pop! Each student needs a game board and a penny to use as a game piece. Place the bubble gum word cards and POP cards in a bag. Place the penny on START. The students take turns grabbing a card from the bag. If they can read the word they get to move their game piece the same number of letters while they spell the word. For example, “come c-o-m-e come.” They should have moved 4 spaces. If they pull out a POP! card they go back 3 spaces.
