Qualifications:
1. Must be a graduating senior in high school or be enrolled in a
college pursuing an undergraduate
2. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA (official school transcript)
3. Must be a registered Catholic member of SMV
4. Must have two recommendation letters (non family members)
that exemplify the values of the Catholic Church within your life
5. Must Submit a Resume including extracurricular, honors,
volunteer hours, etc.
Essay Requirements:
1. No more than 400 words
2. Must be typed in the font “Times New Roman”
3. 1” borders
4. 12 pt font
5. Single spaced, double spaced between paragraphs
6. Cover page, containing your name, contact info, etc.
Essay Topic:
1. Of the eight Beatitudes, which one is your favorite? How does it
speak to you?
