VI Iberoamerican Forum on Literacy and Learning
Associação Portuguesa

... AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS INVOLVED IN THE ORGANIZATION OF THESE TWO EVENTS1.
1Currently
we are managing requests for support in different institutions, including Spanish Ministry of Education.
What is the proposal?
It proposes the development of two events that maintain mutual interconnection points to share
experiences, research results, production, etc. in relation to the promotion of reading and writing in
different population groups. Each program provides own communicative spaces -using different
languages- to analyze different literacy proposals and alternatives for building “communities of
readers and writers” in and outside school.
In other words, the interrelated of these two events can ensure the possibilities to share
experiences, research results, production, etc. happening in European and Iberoamerican contexts
in relation to the promotion of reading and writing in different population groups: sharing four
plenary presentations and a set of parallel lectures, workshops, etc. taking into account the
languages used in each case; etc.
Therefore, the target groups of these events comprise all those interested in ‘moving literacy on’:
teacher-educators and teachers, re-searchers, librarians, students, parents, etc.
