How To Intuitively Communicate With Animals Distance Learning Course Module 1 Understanding and Preparing for Intuitive Animal Communication Understanding Animal Communication The Importance of Relaxation The 7 Key Intuitive Communication Tools Preparation For Communication Connecting With Your Own Animal Friend Sarah-Jane Le Blanc Pet Whisperer Soul 2 Soul Therapy Email: [email protected] / Phone: +44 (0)1592 882349 MODULE ONE 1.1 Understanding Intuitive Animal Communication Module One: Understanding Animal Communication What is Intuitive Animal Communication? “Creating a Mind to Mind Connection established from a Heart to Heart Connection”. Sarah-Jane Le Blanc Intuitive Animal Communication is about love. It is about connection. All genuine communication comes from a place of wanting to connect compassionately with another. By consciously sinking into our heart, we are coming from a place of love. It is only when we come from this place of love that we can truly reach out and engage lovingly with the animals. By sending love direct from our heart to the heart of the animal that we are communicating with we create a beautiful bridge of love where we can invite our animal friend to step onto the bridge and meet us halfway – and it is here, on this bridge of love, that we have the mind to mind connection. Coming from this deep place of love, acceptance and non-judgement, we create trust. By creating trust we create a safe environment where our animal friends have the freedom to express themselves fully and freely. So How Does it Work? Food For Thought: A young girl named Stella who attended one of my workshops asked me: “Do animals find it strange when you talk to them?”. The question took me by surprise as I had never actually stopped to think about it. I explained this to Stella and took a moment to think it through. Reflecting on all the “conversations” I have had over the years with a wide variety of animals: this had never come up. I therefore surmised that our animals are so grateful for the opportunity to be heard they don’t mind that we use something as elementary as mere speech! Animals relate to each other through verbal, physical and intuitive (or telepathic) communications all the time. These modes of communication are completely normal for our animals. Telepahtic Communication merely means communicating with, and through, the mind. Telepathy (or intuitive) is the most basic form of communication, an ability we are all born with. As humans, we learn to rely on verbal communication and our intuitive skills are pushed aside and, unused, quite literally become rusty. Like a muscle, unless used regularly, these skills become weak, wasted and inefficient. However, given the proper mindset and training, we have the ability to build up this weak muscle and communicate intuitively with all species. Module One: Understanding Animal Communication The reason I wrote “Pet Whisperer”, teach workshops and have now written this Distance Learning Course, is because I absolutely believe from the bottom of my heart that we ALL have the ability to intuitively communicate with animals. This is an innate ability that we are all born with. We all have intuitive experiences. We just don’t recognise them as such—often dismissing them as “coincidences”. We have all had experiences where we have been thinking or talking about someone—mentally reminding ourselves to phone/ text/email but not quite getting around to it. Then we get a phone call/text/ email or bump into the person concerend in the street and usually exclaim “Gosh! I was just thinking/talking about you!”. Is this coincidence? NO! This is an intuitive experience. There isn’t space here to explain in great detail the intricate workings of Quantum (or Meta) Physics—that’s a workshop in it’s own right. Further Reading: Keeping it simple, suffice to say that the work of Einstein “The Field” and many other great scientists has scientifically proven Lynne McTaggart that the world we inhabit is made up of vast energetic networks or pathways. This is not in dispute. Every living “It’s The Thought being within our world (including plants and animals) also have their own energetic network (called the energy field or That Counts” aura). The energy field (or aura) can be electroncially Dr David Hamilton photographed using a variety of specialist photography (ie PIP Scan, Kirlian Photography) and it’s existence is accepted by the World Health Organisation. Therefore, if we, as energetic beings are living in an energetic world, it is not mere common sense that we can all connect up on an energetic level? So How Do We “Energetically Connect Up”? Quite easily actually. Our thoughts are merely energy too. Everytime we have a thought, an energetic process occurs. Our thoughts then Top Tip: become energy, reaching out into the great universe— which too is made of energy. If getting your head around the science behind the Animal Communication process is a bit of a challenge : merely TRUST that your thoughts can reach out and cross the divide of time and space. Using the previous example of you thinking about phoning a friend, your thought of making the phone call becomes an energetic process thus creating an energetic thought form. You unconsciously release this thought form from your mind into the universe where it finds Top Tip: the correct energetic pathway to the friend you have been thinking about (this Intention is happens because your intention is to everything! connect with your friend). Your friend unconsciously absorbs this “communication” Module One: Understanding Animal Communication from you—hence her then thinking about you and deciding to make contact with you. And you are then surprised at her contact— believing it to be a lovely coincidence — without realising you had already communicated to her a desire for contact in the first place! Top Tip: There is NO such thing as coincidence! Top Tip: Thoughts have power! The only difference between what I do in my Animal Communication work and what I have described on the previous page, is that I do it with conscious intent. I go through exactly the same process as you do. You just might not be aware that you are doing it— I am aware that I am doing it. That is the only difference. So, Is Connecting Energetically Easy To Do? I am always honest about this when Yes and No. teaching my workshops Yes, because all it requires is an ability to relax and and take time to work with our intuition. explain why some And No, because some people find that much more people find it more difficult to do than others (and there are reasons for difficult than others. this which we will cover later in this section). This Distant Learning We must be able to relax and be able to sink into our Course provides lots of heart space and work with our intuition in order to consciously “send” and “receive” communications. We exercises and techniques to overcome rely greatly on our intuition with this kind of work. the challenges and Therefore, for those of you who already have an barriers that some of awareness of, and a trust in, your “gut instinct” you will find tapping into this space more easy than those you may face. who have difficulty trusting a “gut reaction” that cannot be “proved” or validated in any way. The very same barriers that I faced! Why Some People Find Animal Communication Easier Than Others The ease with which you will find the Animal Communication process is quite simply down to whether you are right brain or left brain dominant. Right Brain/Left Brain Dominance is based on the premise that the brain is split into two hemispheres (right and left) with each hemisphere being responsible for different thought functions which contribute to two different modes of thinking, learning and analysing. Module One: Understanding Animal Communication You can see below the key functions of each hemisphere. This illustrates the differences between right and left brained thinking and will give you an idea of which side of the brain you prefer to use. Left Brain Functions: Right Brain Functions: Analytical Creative Analytical Thought Holistic Thought Logic Intuition Language Pictures Sequence Creativity Science & Maths Art & Music Order Patterns and Shapes Whilst experimentation has shown that we each have a preference for using one side of the brain more than the other, most of us can and do use functions from our non-dominant side (and may even enjoy using these functions too!). If you are looking at the diagram and recognising yourself as using both right and left functions comfortbably and equally, then you are quite possibly “Whole Brained” which means you use both sides of the brain equally—and that is ideally where we want to be. The relevance this has to your Animal Communication Work is understanding that the key tools you will be relying on in your communication sessions with animals are right brain functions. If you already recognise yourself as being Right Brain Dominant, fantastic, learning this process will be much easier for you. If you recongise that you only partially use your right brained I worked with Right Brain/ Left Brain testing long before I had ever heard about Animal Communication and over the course of several years I consistently scored as an “Extreme Left”. It was only because I was a perfectionist (a left brain function!) that I was determined to reach the ideal position of “Whole Brained Living” where you use both sides of the brain equally. It took some practice, but I got there! Module One: Understanding Animal Communication functions, then all you may need is a little practice at strengthening the right hemisphere. If you recognise yourself as being left brain dominant, DO NOT DESPAIR. There are plenty of things you can do to open up and strenghen the right side functions. It’s like “exercising” an under-used muscle—just like I stated at the beginning. It may not be comfortable at first and it may be frustrating but you can work through that. Practice, Practice, Practice. In preparation to expand and strengthen your right side of the brain you could try any—or all—of the following:Invitations To Play • Learning a musical instrument • Practicing art work with different mediums until you find something you especially like using ie paints, graphite pencil, paper, canvas, sculpture, • If you have to display, show or write up work/reports try different formats ie use graphs, colour, shapes, textures • Become practiced at noticing your preferred methods of writing, displaying, analysing—then try something more right brained • Try a new language or join a dance class —just for fun. • Make something • Plant seeds and nurture them to full growth • If you know someone who is right brained, pair up with them: watch them and learn from them • Make a change in your routine • Become more aware of your 5 senses and engage them when out and about • Become aware of your gut instinct and listen—even if you don’t act on it Module One: Understanding Animal Communication Start small. Don’t expect to become the next Mozart or Picasso—that is not the intention. Part of the process is becoming “lost” in the activity—being able to switch off the over-active, analysing left side of the brain. The fact that my drawings look like they belong in a Pre-School Nursery isn’t important. What is important is that I enjoy trying and soon get lost in the moment. THAT is the best bit. Being truly relaxed and engrossed in my activty. And, after time, my art work has improved—so much so that I have two pieces I am particularly proud of. My childrens’ art work is still miles better than mine but I saw improvement as I practised and I was able to feel proud of my achievements. Top Tip: Start small. My first attempts at being creative included:• Changing my bullet “points” to arrows • Stopping writing up group feedback as lists on the flipchart and practiced using shapes and arrows to highlight and connect themes • Using colour—different colours for headings; coloured paper for the title page of reports; coloured folders • Trying to “think out of the box” when problem solving—and learning from other people who worked like that (my biggest lesson was learning to be flexible!) MODULE ONE 1.2 The Importance of Relaxation Module One: Importance of Relaxation You might ask yourself: “What does relaxation have to do with Animal Communication?” The answer is simple: ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! The key to Intuitive Animal Communication is being able to RELAX. This is because we need to be able to relax both physically and mentally in order to engage with, and develop, our intuition. And of course, it is our intuition that we use when we communicate with animals. Being able to relax starts with releasing the physical tension that we hold (and are often unaware of) within our body. The next step is to find a method that works for us in quietening the mental chatter and everyday thoughts that occupy our mind. Over the years I have tried various approaches to “switching off” and stilling my often over-active mind. I got frustrated with Tai-chi as it was too slow for someone like me who was always on the go (I appreciate now that I was merely resisting what I actually needed—to slow down!). Several years later, as I was beginning to open up to the world of complementary therapies and understand the importance of needing to slow my hectic work and life pace down, I forced myself to go to weekly Yoga classes and it took a LONG time for me to “get it” . In some classess I would be frustrated and agitated and couldn’t wait for the class to finish so I could go back to being busy! I also found bookshelves upon bookshelves of books advising on how to relax and block out mental chatter. In the main, I found the various processes of “blocking out” my thoughts unhelpful. My thoughts just kept returning, shouting louder and louder to be heard! Then I would become less and less relaxed as I tried to take control of the mental power struggle that was going on in my Top Tip: mind! Remain conscious of your thought process. A thought arises: know that it has arisen. A thought is there: know that the thought is there. When the thought moves and goes out of existence, then This process is simply about acting as a witness to know, witness that it has your own thoughts. You are not engaging with the disappeared. Whenever a thought goes and another thought comes, thoughts, merely standing back and witnessing there is a gap in between. Be them as they come into your mind, acknowledging conscious of the gap. Remain them and letting them flow through. Using this conscious of the thought process process of recognising and acknowledging your - a thought moving, a gap, again a thoughts takes away the urgency and power that thought. Be conscious! Then I came across a book in my local library which talked about “Witnessing”. I confess I never read the whole book—I got all I needed by time I reached the Chapter on “Witnessing”. your thoughts can often have. Thus, avoiding the internal mental power struggle for recongition that your thoughts are demanding—and needing. Source: “The Ultimate Alchemy” Vol 1—Osho Module One: Importance of Relaxation Over the years I have worked with this basic technique of “Witnessing” and with new learning and accumulated understanding I have discovered that the key to success with this technique is to dis-engage from your thoughts whilst simultaneously accepting them with love and compassion—because after all our thoughts and feelings are a part of us. Working with relaxation is not about becoming all Zen-like (although you can if you want!). It’s about learning to quieten the mind so your body knows what it feels like to do and think nothing. Start with just 5 minutes a day. If you are new to this that may be a challenge! Methods of Relaxation: • Working with The Breath • Walking in nature • Yoga • Tai-Chi • Chi-Kung • Meditation • Art-Work / Music • ANYTHING that stills your mind If like me, your first attempts at meditation create feelings of frustration and agitation, keep working with it. When you want to get busy again, keep working at it. This resistance to the silence prevents our feelings from emerging. By being busy, we can easily ignore what is going on deep within. The key is to feel our feelings: to know our feelings: so we can start communicating with ourselves. If it truly is too uncomfortable for you, just work with the breath. Invitation To Play: Working with the Breath Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths. With each exhalation, relax more and more deeply. Become aware as your body releases pent up tension and you feel your body sink more and more deeply, connecting with the earth. Now, pay attention to the breath: WITNESS the breath. Be conscious of the oxygen entering your nostrils and filling up your abdomen and lungs. Be aware of the pause as you hold the breath for a count of 3. Feel the breath leave your body as your abdomen and lungs deflate. Practise for just a few minutes each day, building up to 5 minutes by the end of the first week, 10 by the second week. You can add in an affirmation to reinforce your practice ie on the inhale state “I am” and on the exhale state “relaxed”. Enjoy! Module One: Importance of Relaxation Is there a difference between Relaxation and Meditation? There are key differences and I don’t think it’s important to get hung up between the two if you are new to this. For me, my intention is clear: I am not striving for a Zen-like existence where I spend hours in a meditative state (if I had the time that would be fantastic, but I don’t) —I merely want to create a clean, clear space in my mind so I can communicate first and foremost with myself, ensuring that I am staying true to myself and my path. Creating this space and working from the heart opens the door to Intuiive Animal Communication. The depth to which you can do this will be the depth to which you can merge, and become one, with the animal that you are working with. Invitations To Play: • Sit quietly, relaxing or meditating in whatever way suits you best. You may wish to do this in the company of your animal friend/s. Creating this calm around your animal/s will only benefit them. They will enjoy spending this easy, relaxing time with you. • Try different types of music and note the different effects they elicit in you. For relaxation purposes, choose music that relaxes your body and feeds and nurtures your soul. • Go outside in nature—regardless of the weather! Really tune in to your surroundings. One by one, check what each of your 5 senses can tune into. What can you see, hear, feel, taste and smell? Concentrating in this way trains the mind to focus (in later Modules we will use a guided meditation that takes this “Play Work” to the next level). • Get Creative! Pick up a pencil and piece of paper—or even better, borrow your children’s (or someone else’s children’s!) colouring pencils and a drawing pad. Let your imagination run riot! This is NOT about artisitc ability—it is about letting go. Just let the pencil wander and see what happens. As a non-artist my favourite 2 activites are: 1) “Take My Pencil for a Walk” - randomly squiggling over the page creating loops and shapes as the pencil crosses over the lines I have previously made. Then I have fun colouring in all the shapes that I have created! I become completely engrossed in this childhood activity—my mind completely focussed on what I am doing. 2) Going outside in nature and focussing on an object/piece of scenary and drawing it. Again, the focus is NOT artistic ability (I have none!) it is about concentration and focus. Getting creative like this really expands your creative and intuitive side. Opening up the right side of the brain and exercising the muscles that are needed to engage with the Intuitive Animal Communication process. MODULE ONE 1.3 The Seven Key Intuitive Communication Tools Module One: The Seven Key Communication Tools To communicate with animals you need to just “be”. Sarah-Jane Le Blanc When you have learned to relax and find your inner point of stillness you will have access to a whole range of intuitive tools to support you in your animal communication that you may never have realised where there all along at your disposal! In this section we are going to briefly cover what these key communication tools are so you understand the different methods of communicating with animals before you start your own communication practice (which you will begin in the last section of this module). Later, in Module 2, we will explore in more depth how you can use these key communication tools to frame your questions clearly and simply to your animal friends. And, throughout the duration of this Course, we will expand upon and illustrate these key communication tools so you can understand how your animal friends use these tools in their daily communications. Additionally, you will also practise with these tools to enhance and build your relationship with, and understanding of, your animal friends. The Seven Key Intuitive Communication Tools:• Clairsentience • Clairaudience • Clairvoyance • Claircognizance • Olfactory • Gustatory • Body Scanning Food for Thought: So many students that attend my workshops are already communicating with their animal friends using these key communication tools— they just didn’t realise it! They thought it was their imagination!!! Module One: The Seven Key Communication Tools Clairsentience This translates as “clear-feeling” - the ability to send and receive physical sensations/emotions to and from your animal friends. Dougal (a huge labradoodle pup) sent me pain in my head, burning on my face and ears, tenderness all over my back end, and immeasurable amounts of fear, tears and confusion after being attacked by two dogs. Clairaudience This translates as “clear-hearing” - the ability to hear sounds/telepathic information in whatever language you speak. Working with a cat from Saudi Arabia, her accent was so posh I could barely make her out as she spoke with such large golf balls in her mouth! I said she was defianitely a “Posh Cat”! Her guardian said it summed her up completely! - they called her Princess Tamara! Clairvoyance This translates as “clear-seeing” - the ability to send and receive pictures/scenes to and from your animal friends Peanut the lost kitten was able to show me exactly where she had gone when she ran away from the scary man at the end of her path. She was soon home with mum! Claircognizance This translates as “clear-knowing” - the ability to “just know” or intuit information When I “just know” that a dog has arthritis or that a cat is being bullied . Olfactory The ability to experience aromas as the animal would experience them. Ohhh the scent of rabbit through a hound’s nose.... Gustatory The ability to experience tastes as the animal would experience them. Mmmmm ever tasted chicken as a dog? Bliss.... Body Scanning The ability to use your body as an instrument to determine if and where your animal friend is in pain. Scanning Timmy allowed me to see and feel that his tummy wasn’t coping with his life-saving medication. Some anti-sickness tablets soon had it sorted. Module One: The Seven Key Communication Tools Top Tip: Pay attention to how you interact and understand your own animal friend: Now you know the key communication tools, PRACTICE! Send the picture to accompany your verbal command. Send the feeling to accompany the picture. Now you know what the key communication tools are, PRACTICE! Playwork: Each time you give a verbal command to your animal friend, send a picture to accompany the spoken word. If you want to step it up a gear, when you give a verbal command, add a feeling to accompany the picture. MODULE ONE 1.4 Preparation For Animal Communication Module One: Preparing For Animal Communication Where do you start? With a quiet mind. Have you been trying the different suggestions and techniques outlined in “The Importance of Relaxation” part of this module? Remember, what works for one person might not necessarily work for another. Have you found something that works for you? Are you able to sit quietly and still your mind for a full 10 minutes yet? As I have already outlined previously, you do not have to be an expert at meditation to be able to communicate with animals. You only have to be able to quieten the mind and shut off your mental chatter for a short period of time— just long enough to connect, send, receive and interpret the messages your animal friend wants to send to you. Preparation For Using Your Intuition and Intuitive Communication Tools 1.Quieten the Mind 2.Ground Yourself 3.Set Your Intention/Say Your Prayer Quieten the Mind Using the breath work (or whatever works best for you) take a few moments to relax the body, release all tension and still the mind. Top Tip: When just learning, I found that doing my breath / meditation work at the same time every morning helped me form a habitual practice—one I soon began to look forward to every day. Ground Yourself Being grounded, quite literally means being connected with the earth. There are lots of exercises available to help you ground yourself—usually relating to roots forming from your feet going into the earth—like giant, strong tree roots. Whilst these exercises do indeed “root” you, I find that including the added dimension of a spiritual connection really helps strengthen this feeling of connectedness—not just to the earth, but to the universe as well. This, I believe, creates the maximum strength and support that we need not just for this work, but for our day to day living. After all, even the strongest of trees with the strongest of roots can be blown over by the wind.... Module One: Preparing For Animal Communication PLAYWORK:Take 3 deep breaths and imagine a white light shining high above your head. Breathe this white light into your body by bringing it in through the crown chakra (top of the head). See it travel all the way down through your body to the bottom of your feet where it leaves the soles of your feet and enters the ground, journeying through all the layers of the earth. As it travels deep into the earth imagine a red crystal in the very center of the earth. The white light travels to the red crystal and wraps itself around and around the crystal. Then imagine the red light emanating from the crystal traveling up towards the surface of the earth. This red energy enters the soles of your feet traveling all the way up through the body and out the top of your crown chakra into the universe. Now, taking in a deep breath, simultaneously breath in both the deep red earth energy (travelling up from the earth through the feet) and the glorious white universal energy (travelling down from the universe through the top of the head) and see them travel simulaneously strongly connecting you to both the earth and the universe. Take a few moments to see and feel this energy cursing through your body. Now, see both sources of energy travelling toward your heart. Here , in the heart space, these two energy sources meet. See the red and the white energies mix to make pink light – pure love. Breathe this pink, loving energy deeply into your heart and feel the loving energy slowly fill your body and completely envelop you. See yourself completed wrapped in a ball of pure, pink, loving energy. NB. If you have any inflammatory conditions, please replace the colour red with brown. Grounding yourself on a daily basis (whether you are communicating with animals or not) is an excellent practice for daily living. When we are grounded we feel strong and connected and are more easily able to deal with the stresses and strains that daily life can often bring. Practise this Grounding Technique daily by incorporating it into your breath/ relaxation work. Once you have perfected this technique you will be able to get into the right space quickly and easily for communicating with animals. Module One: Preparing For Animal Communication Set Your Intention/Say Your Prayer Before connecting with your animal friend, it can be helpful to state your intention or say a short prayer to God, The Universe, Spirit, The Angels, or whomever your belief system lies with. INTENTION: Your initial intention may be quite simple—and general—ie It is my intention to communicate with Rufus As your experience grows you may wish to expand your intention ie It is my intention that Rufus and I communicate easily and effortlessly As your confidence and experience continues to grow your intention may evolve again It is my intention that I can easily and effortlessly send and receive communications with Rufus and that all interpretations are 100% accurate Start with where you are comfortable. If you are brand new to this, keep it simple. All you really need is to be clear about what you want to achieve. Once you have stated your intention, feel the power behind your words—and believe them! Top Tip: Remember: Intention is everything “Imagination is more important than knowledge” Albert Einstein Module One: Preparing For Animal Communication PRAYER: You may wish to develop your intention into a short prayer or statement. This prayer is not directed to the animal you are planning to communicate with, but is directed to the highest source above. Therefore it is important that you alter the wording so it sits comfortably with your own belief system. My own personal prayer has evolved over the years, but the one I devised below stood me in great stead for many years when I first started out:- God/Spirit/Archangel Raphael I ask that you guide me to that inner place of peace and love where I can silence my mental chatter and open my heart to the animals. There in that place of love I will do your will and work for the highest good of all. Amen MODULE ONE 1.5 Connecting With Your Own Animal Friend Module One: Connecting With Your Own Animal Friend Sending messages to your animal friend Communication is a dialouge—a two way process—where sending and receiving messages naturally goes hand in hand. However, in this first module you are only going to concentrate on sending messages to your animal friend. This is because receiving messages is more difficult to do than sending them. Until we can learn to quieten the mind with all the understanding, exercises and techniques already outlined in the earlier part of this module, receiving messages will continue to be a challenge. So, for now, lets just concentrate on building your practice at sending messages, where there is no pressure to “hear” anything back. Sending Messages Our animals communicate telephathically with us all the time, sending us messages as well as receiving our thoughts—whether we mean to send them or not! They are well versed in this communication process. However, they are used to us not hearing them and may have given up all hope of ever communicating with us! Therefore, please bear this in mind as you practise and perfect your new skills. It really is like learning a new language and only with practise will you be able to refine and hone your new language skills so your animal friend more easily receives and understands what you are communicating. Don’t be disheartend if you do not see any immediate response to the message that you send—it will have been received. Keep practicing until it feels comfortable and you will see a reaction from your animal friend in time. This first exercise in sending a message to your animal friend is nice and easy and is geared around something important to your companion: either a favourite toy or treats! You can do this technique either with your animal friend present with you or with them in another room. But, before we begin, let’s go back a stage:The previous section looked at preparing for Animal Communication. In this final section of Module One, we are pulling everything together and you will practice connecting with your own special animal friend using the Soul 2 Soul Connection Technique. This beautiful technique naturally flows from the Grounding Technique so your full set of Preparation Tools now looks like this:- Module One: Connecting With Your Own Animal Friend 1.Quieten the Mind 2.Ground Yourself 3.Set Your Intention/Say Your Prayer 4.Connect with your Animal Friend using the Soul 2 Soul Connection Technique Connect with Your Animal Friend using the Soul 2 Soul Connection Technique Invitation To Play:The Soul 2 Soul Connection Technique flows from the Grounding Technique and is picked up at the point in the Grounding Technique where you bring the red earth and white universal energies into your heart space. Mix these two energies to create pink: pure love. Breath in this pink, loving energy deeply and send it out, with the intention of pure love, direct to your animal’s heart. This loving pink light creates a bridge of love, direct from your heart to theirs. Allow yourself to become “lost in the photograph” or “lost in the energy” of your animal friend for a few breaths. Become aware of the sensations in your body as you and she merge. Invite your animal friend to step onto the bridge and communicate with you:Hello __________ I come to you in love because your mum/dad (enter the name of the animal’s guardian here) has asked me to communicate with you. Are you happy to communicate with me? My intention is to create a safe and loving space for you to be heard. I will not try to control or manipulate you, but will listen with love and act as your spokesperson. I promise only to pass on information that you are happy with. I come in love and peace. You will feel a clear sense of whether your animal friend grants permission for communication to take place or not. If you get nothing, then you have permission – you will know if you have not! If permission is not granted, ask if they would like you to check back at a later time – they may be busy or having fun… If permission is granted, REMEMBER we are only practising with sending messages just now! It is too easy to get excited and bombard your poor companion with all your long-awaited questions. You will have plenty of opportunity to ask all your questions in Module 2 when you have learned how to frame them correctly so your companion understands them clearly. Module One: Connecting With Your Own Animal Friend Top Tip: With a little practise, you will be able to do your Grounding and Soul 2 Soul Connection Techniques as one. The key is to practise and perfect the Grounding Technique which, with practise, can be done in as little as 3 breaths. Have you been practicing every day? If so, are you feeling it’s benefits at home, at work, at play? Are those around you feeling the benefits too..... Right, the point in this Course that you have been waiting for! Connecting wth your own animal friend. Remember, at this very early stage, we are merely making a connection, not having a full blown conversation—that comes in the next module! So put aside any frustration you may have at not getting answers to all your burning questions— there will be plenty of time for that later. Just relax knowing that your animal companion will be surprised, comforted—and grateful—that you are learning to speak his or her language. Invitation To Play: • Think of a favourite toy (or food) that your companion likes. Please ensure that you have either the toy or the food to hand. • Imagine your beloved Animal Companion and bring that vision into your mind’s eye, gently stating their name. If they are in the room with you, you may wish to look into their eyes and silently state their name. • Closing your eyes, conjure up an image of that toy or food in your mind. Work on all the fine detail: the shape, the size, colour, texture, smell, taste, feel. Really draw on all your 5 senses imagining that you can see, feel, smell, taste, hear it. • When you are ready, send that picture, with all the “senses” attached to it, to your animal friend. Now, see your companion in your mind’s eye playing with the toy or eagerly eating the treat. • When the strength of connection begins to fade or you have sent the image and feel finished, wrap your friend in an imaginary bubble of white light and repeat for yourself too, so both of you are wrapped separately. • Now immediately give the toy or treat to your companion. • Practise this exercise every day until you feel absolutely comfortable with it and you begin to see your companion responding to your communication. • Once you have reached the above stage, you may wish to play around with the imagery ie sending pictures of different toys or foods—always having them to hand to enage with your companion immediately that you are finished sending the message. Module One: Connecting With Your Own Animal Friend Sending messages in this clear, concise way helps build your practice at sending messages as well as being a positive starting point for your animal friend. Engaging in something positive like a game or receiving a treat encourages your companion to listen out for you and really helps them become more receptive—and responsive—to your messages. Top Tip: Top Tip: BELIEVE in your ability to be able to communicate with animals. Don’t make promises you can’t keep. A broken promise is a broken promise and will lead to distrust. Remember: intention is everything! MODULE ONE 1.6 What’s Next.... Module One: Coming Next.... Vygotsky believed that it is only when a learner is stretched beyond the comfort of his or her learning level that maximum learning will be achieved. So, has this Module stretched you beyond your comfort zone? How comfortable was the experience of this Module for you? Did you find it easy? Did it present challenges for you? If it did, that’s great—it was meant to. However, the really important question is: Are you ready—and prepared—to walk the next step to deepen and enhance your intuitive relationship with animals? I truly hope you are as I know you are capable of fully igniting the Animal Communicator within you and becoming a burning beacon of light, ready to serve the animals. And, armed with my rocksteady faith in you, I fully echo the words of Virginia Satir:- 'I want you to get excited about who you are, what you have, and what you can still be for you. I want to inspire you to see that you can go far beyond where you are right now.' And you will go far beyond where you are right now. That is my greatest wish for you and, as such, this course has been designed to support you in achieving just that. Let’s recap: You have explored what Intuitive Animal Communication is, understand how it works and have experienced what may be your first attemtp at intuitively communicating with your own animal friend. So, let’s have a look at what exciting steps are ahead for you. Next month we will be learning all about sending messages. So far we have just touched the very outside of this huge subject area. You will also “play” with all the different communication methods outlined in this first Module and you will be Module One: Coming Next.... able to identify your own preferred communication style. For anyone who is struggling, there is lots of playwork in Module Two to support you in opening up and devloping your intuition—playwork that can be referred to time and time again. The beauty of this particular Module is that you continue to develop and expand your intuition, practising with your communication tools and there are options for you to do this playwork without any animals present—making it quick and easy to refer to. At any stage of becoming “stuck” with your communication work, this is the Module to refer to. Module Two plays a crucial and exciting part in supporting your journey of Intuitive Communication as it explores and teaches the following subjects:• Basic Communication Skills • How To Frame The Messages That You Send • Practicing With, And Learning How To Use Your Communication Tools • Recognising Your Own Communication Style And Your Strongest Tools • Asking of, And Negotiating With, Your Animal Friend I would love to see you next month and would consider it my honour and privilage to continue supporting you in your magical journey of Intuitive Animal Communication.
