non-government
organization, is an institution in West Champaran working for the upliftment
of poor, dalit, backward and minorities. The institution involves in several
disaster relief programs for flood, drought and other natural calamities.
SAMAGRA JAN AKANKSHA SEVA SANSTHAN conduct awareness programs
and provides small grants towards erasing the demarcation that has been
caused in the society as a result of drug abuse, gambling, child marriage and
dowry. The aim is to build the capacity in rural areas in order to make it
effective from grassroot level. The organization has performed works in
different fields to implement and strengthen its principal and ideology. It has
worked in programs that try to generate self employment, social security,
and a bright and secure future. It has accomplished several health programs
and considerable numbers of people have been benefited by it. It has tried to
raise and maintain a hygienic standard among the people. It has also brought
into focus the most unfortunate practice of child labour and makes people
aware about the hostility of this practice. The organization bears a firm belief
that education is the key which open the doors of progress and prosperity of
poor and weaker section of the society. It has enabled them to know their
rights so that they can draw maximum profit of different programs and even
claim it legitimately in case they are kept deprived of.
The SAMAGRA JAN AKANKSHA SEVA SANSTHAN is also held responsible for
creation of many Self Help Groups (SHGs), Angan Bari and Nursing Centers
giving them power to re-establish themselves and to make them self
dependent and reliant.

10. ASSETS AND INFRASTRUCTURE
 375 sq. ft. office space centrally located at village FATEHPUR, P.O.-JOGAPATTI,
DIST. –WEST CHAMPARAN (BIHAR).
 2 computer system under control and supervision of computer and IT experts.
 Digital as well as manual library.
 Collection of resource papers, research reports, statistical findings and survey
reports etc. on various issues.
 Network with 18 other NGOs and specialized agencies.
The organization has developed enough manpower & infrastructure for implementing
various social welfare programs for community development. The Organization is
capable of catering training and exposure programs on specific themes, with minimum
amenities and contributing to healthy environment for the participants. The office have
basic infrastructure for training and other facilities for documentation and information
dissemination. The added advantage is that the trainees can have exposures to microfinance activities and sustainable natural resource management activities in the project
areas of SAMAGRA JAN AKANKSHA SEVA SANSTHAN in WEST CHAMPARAN
(BIHAR) region. SAMAGRA JAN AKANKSHA SEVA SANSTHAN has established
good rapport with institutions and individuals within and outside the state to make
resource pool and organize capacity building programs, studies and program monitoring
on demand.
 The vision in voluntary sector is to provide free services to the poor patients and
children.
 Proposal of new vision centers with the help of National program for prevention of
blindness (NPCB) has been prepared.
 Conceptual background for preparation on rural development, health & family
welfare, HIV/AIDS awareness programs, Human Resource Development, SCs& STs
upliftment programs, women & child development, agriculture & allied industries
promotion, disaster management, youth affairs, cultural development, Tourism
promotion ,Human Rights, Peace& co-operation, self help groups(SHG) formation &
management.
 To make surveys, identifications, analysis, assessment and database management
system installation.
 Preparation of PROJECT FEASIBILITY REPORT with socio-techno and financial
analysis.
 To create a panel of noted experts/qualified professional and educationists.
 Planning workshop analysis.
 Concept paper formulation.
 Computer aided education on boot-model on distt. level.
 To establish a training program organization, documentation workshop, information
research and information dissemination.
 To establish an analysis, monitoring, supervision and follow-up system having a
logical framework.
 To initiate an entrepreneurship for personality, communication and skill
development.
Our mission statement is “transformational development of the people through participatory
practices on sustained basis", having special focus on women and child. At present our
organization is undertaking various activities under the following components:
 Women and child development programs, sustainable rural development programs,
campaign on child labour, street children, environment, panchayats raj, women and
child rights, campaign against women feticides etc.
 Raising funds through local contributions and member’s efforts and support to give
pace to the development. In this connection several national and international donors
are providing support. We aim to raise much financial support for other operations
also through communicating with various donors.
 Our official's members and grass root level volunteers are working hard to propagate
a new shape of the project area on all front socio-economic and other social
parameters.
 Our grass root workers and animators aim to reach on every doorsteps of the under
privileged and deprived people to sustain them with the society.
 Getting support of thousands of people for our views, vision and missions. We take
pledge to serve the common mass, women and children.
 Our organization is also undertaking various activities under -SCs &STs
development programs.
To co-operate and join hands with the funding agencies for the high impact of following
welfare and development programs of government and general lawful activities:

To promote behavior change communication amongst the target groups.
To promote the usages of contraceptives amongst the target groups in area.
To promote STD treatment and care seeking behavior.
To promote education about AIDS through door to door communication.
To advocate for the equality in social life, economy and political issues.
To promote dalit, minority and women through :
 Introduce, exercise, formulate various matrix of vocational self education
training schemes, being non static in nature, require continuous innovative
methodologies and update of curriculum, policies, procedures, rules,
standards etc. so that the social economy changes, technical advancements and
training needs are appropriately taken care of.
 Use professional capacity in human resource development program, for the
foundation of useful human resource for prosperous and united India.
 Step to step with planning of government and execution of program in high
rating and value added exposure.
 Support in the complete solutions for:

 The child labour.
 The unemployment.
 Human resource development.
 Make country rich inhabited by rich people.
 Make villages with infrastructure for income generation of mass of
people.

Canteen has been allotted in Bettiah Sadar Hospital by District Health Society,
West Champaran.

Number of people linked under Jansree Bima Yojna (for poor family) by the

A survey of child labour in Jogapatti block in West Champaran district had
been done and 14 child labours were freed from dangerous operations.

Chief functionary members are trained NREGs as ordered by DRDA (West
Champaran).

A survey had been conducted, of PASU GANANA (survey on animals) in
Jogapatti block in West Champaran district, as ordered by BDO of the
jurisdiction.

A training for Basic Oriental Program (BOP) had been conducted following by
order of DDC West Champaran.

Supply of diet for patients in M.J.K.Hospital (male ward), Bettiah, as order by
District Health Society

Kausal Unayan training program had been conducted at block Lauria and
Jogapatti in West Champaran district as ordered by DDC of the jurisdiction
and 1631 person had been benefitted by it.

Kausal Unayan training program ( Dairy Training) had been conducted at
block Jogapatti in West Champaran district as order by “NABARD” Patna of
the jurisdiction and 35 person had been benefitted by it.

Kausal Unayan training program ( Nursery & Horticulture training ) had been
conducted at block jogapatti in West Champaran district as ordered by “
NABARD “ of the jurisdiction and 35 person had been benefitted by it.
