Who is Pitch In For Baseball

Pitch In For Baseball is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit that collects and redistributes new
and gently used baseball/softball equipment to kids around the world who want to play ball
but don’t have the proper gear

Founded in 2005, PIFB has donated over $5 million worth of gear to over 500,000 kids in
nearly every state and over 80 countries around the world
Project Description
• Run an equipment drive collecting new and gently used
baseball/softball gear to donate to PIFB
• Utilize “Equipment Collection Toolkit” (flyers, etc.) provided by
PIFB
• Select date(s) to run the collection
• Select location to hold the collection/put collection boxes
– Home
– Business
– Game(s)/Tournament
– School
• Fundraisers can be run in addition to equipment collection
Goals
• Collect as much baseball and softball gear to contribute to
PIFB’s efforts
• Raise community awareness about the project and PIFB
• Encourage community to donate to a greater cause and make a
difference in the lives of children around the world
