The TV Ears Power Stacker increases the infrared output. You will need the power stacker and the power stacker cord to connect it to your transmitter. Instructions: 1. Place the Power Stacker underneath your Transmitter, with the diodes facing towards the seating area. Do not disconnect any of the cables from the back of the transmitter. Transmitter Power Stacker AC Adapter into 12V port of power stacker. 2. The AC Adapter should have two plugs on one end (if purchased in a Professional system). Plug one into the 12v port on the back of the power stacker. The other plug should be plugged into the 12V port of the transmitter. Plug the opposite end into a wall power outlet or surge protector. Note: Your power stacker may have come with an AC adapter with only one plug if purchased separately. Infrared Lights Check: If connected correctly the diodes on both the transmitter and power stacker will glow red (cup your hands around them to check). 3. Plug the red end of the Power Stacker Cord into the back of the transmitter into the Ext port. Plug the black end of the power stacker cord into the power stacker into the Ext port.
