Across the United States, cities proclaim July as Parks and Recreation Month. The City of Beverly Hills invites you to join in
the celebration. Residents are encouraged to discover and learn about all the great activities you can do in Beverly Hills
during the month of July.
ATTEND A FREE
SUMMER CONCERT!
Attend a FREE Thursday night Summer
Concerts on Cañon at Beverly Cañon
Gardens. July 6th, 13th, 20th, & 27th.
Performances are at 6:00pm & 7:15pm.

TAKE A WALK WITH THE MAYOR
Attend a Walk with the Mayor on Mondays,
July 17th, 24th, or 31st. The Walk starts
promptly at 8:30am in front of Beverly Hills
City Hall - Crescent Drive side walking to
various destinations within Beverly Hills.
ATTEND A COMMISSION MEETING
Attend the Tuesday, July 25th at 2:00pm
Recreation & Parks Commission Meeting
and tell the Commissioners and staff what
you like best about the recreation and park
facilities in Beverly Hills. Meetings are held
at City Hall, Room 280A.
TAKE A SELFIE WITH A PARK
RANGER
Park Rangers can be found at the City’s
main parks and various events throughout
the City. Thank them for the great job they
do!
ENJOY A WEEKDAY PICNIC
Enjoy a weekday picnic at Roxbury Park
picnic benches. No picnic reservations
required for one (1) weekday picnic table.
TERRIFIC TUESDAYS!
Children and families can enjoy the Beverly
Hills Public Library Terrific Tuesdays on July
11th, 18th, or 25th at 4:00pm in the Civic
Center Plaza.
VISIT THE NEW
LAZY DAISY CAFÉ AT
LA CIENEGA PARK
Enjoy lunch, dinner or a snack at the new
Lazy Daisy Café Snack Bar located in La
Cienega Park.

YOUR CANINE BEST FRIEND
Bring your canine best friend to the
Beverly Hills Community Dog Park at 344
N. Foothill Road. Registration and entry
restrictions are required for admittance.

VIEW PUBLIC ART
Enjoy Public Art located in the parks and in
focal areas of the City. The latest addition
to the City collection is World On Its Hind
Legs by artist William Kentridge and
Gerhard Marx. The artwork is located
on the Burton Way median near Rexford
Drive. Download the City’s Explore Beverly
Hills app to view the City’s art collection.

SUMMER READING CLUB
Register for the Summer Reading Club at
the Beverly Hills Public Library. Readers
of all ages are invited to join one of the
Reading by Design reading clubs. Go to

BEVERLY HILLS FARMERS’ MARKET
Purchase fresh summer fruits and vegetables
and other delectables at the Beverly Hills
Farmers’ Market held on Sundays from
9:00am - 1:00pm on Civic Center Drive.
In addition, the 1st Sunday of the Month
is E-Waste Pick-Up and Battery Collection,
the 2nd Sunday is Cookin’ Kids, and the
4th Sunday of the Month is Beverly Hills
Library Storytime.
