Welcome!
High school—such an exciting time in your child’s life, and being a
part of the Ft. Myers High School Music Department brings even
more excitement and fun! Concerts, football games, chaperoning,
concession stands, uniforms, band trips, rehearsals, Booster meetings,
fund-raising and maybe even a funny word called “dinkles” will
become part of your life. This handbook has been created to give
you an inside look into this fabulous new adventure you and your
child are embarking on.
Please feel free to ask questions. We were all new to this
wonderful world of the high school music department at one time.
The experienced parents are here to assist you in any way we can. We
want you to feel welcome and become a part of the Green Wave
Music Booster family!
WHO ARE MUSIC BOOSTERS? We are parents of all music
students at Ft. Myers High School. Whether your child is a member
of the marching, concert, symphonic or jazz band, orchestra or visual
ensemble, or dance team, YOU are a Music Booster!
