Kruger National Park –– Makuleke Concession

The Kruger Makuleke Camp is situated between the Limpopo and the Luvuvhu Rivers in the
Pafuri region of northern Kruger Park. Herein lies the 24 000 hectare Makuleke Concession, the
ancestral home of the Makuleke people and the most biodiverse and scenically attractive area in
all of the Kruger Park. Thatch-roof safari tents on wooden decks nestle beneath Nyala trees, each
with en-suite bathrooms and a veranda overlooking the wilderness.
Selati Game Reserve

Our Selati camp is on the banks of the Selati River in the 33 000 hectare Selati Game Reserve to
the west of the Kruger Park. A large undeveloped reserve with diverse landscapes of granite
hills and Mopane woodlands provides ample space for wilderness walks providing a true sense
of wilderness. Camp accommodation is simple dome tents with shared bathroom facilities. A
central open-sided dining area provides a gathering place for daily lectures, meals and social time.
Karongwe Game Reserve

Karongwe Camp is on the bank of the Karongwe River in the 9 000 hectare Karongwe Game
Reserve, south west of the Kruger Park. Over 60 mammal species, an abundant bird life, sightings
of lion, leopard and cheetah as well as elephant are a regular occurrence. Accommodation is
walk-in style safari tents with shared bathroom facilities. Open-sided double-story decks serve as
the dining, lecture and study area as well as an outside bedroom for the adventurous.

Mashatu Game Reserve –– Northern Tuli Game Reserve

Our Mashatu Camp is nestled in the thick shade of the giant Mashatu trees on the banks of the
Motloutse riverbed. Known as the “Land of Giants”, it is home to the largest herds of elephant
on private land in Africa, the world’s tallest mammal, the giraffe, the world’s largest antelope, the
eland, the world’s largest bird, the ostrich, king of the beasts, the lion and the iconic baobab tree.
Accommodation is in simple dome tents with shared bathroom facilities.

The Stanley and Livingstone Private Game Reserve

The Nakavango Conservation Centre, from which the EcoTraining course is conducted, is located
alongside the Masuie River, a tributary of the great Zambezi River, in the 2 500 hectare Stanley
and Livingstone Private Game Reserve. Just ten kilometers away are the Victoria Falls – one of
the seven natural wonders of the world! It is the only property in the Victoria Falls region where
Africa’s “Big Five” can be viewed. Accommodation consists of single bedrooms with shared ablutions.

The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is a private reserve between Mount Kenya National Park,
Samburu and the Aberdares. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Lewa is an area of outstanding
natural beauty, giving one the opportunity to experience the romantic Africa. Accommodation
is walk-in safari tents with shared bathrooms. The Borana Conservancy, located on the Laikipia
Plateau, offers views of snow-capped peaks together with encounters of some of Kenya’s most
prolific wildlife as well as the highest populations of endangered species in Kenya.
