‘Super Star’
The nativity is starting to come together and looking great.
The second batch of tickets was issued yesterday. The Friday
performance is now full; however, tickets are still available for
the Wednesday, Thursday morning and Thursday afternoon
performances. If you would like to request further tickets at
£3.00 each, please complete the slip at the end of the News
Sheet.
All children will stay until 3.00pm on Thursday 15 December;
however, all children will be dismissed by 12.00noon on Friday 16 December after the final performance - lunch
will not be available on this day. Buses will run at 12.00noon for those children requiring transportation home.
Outstanding Payments
 Healthy Handy Break - thank you if you have already sent in your
payment. We still have a few outstanding. Please forward £13.00 by Monday
14 December if you would still wish your child to receive Healthy Handy
Break.
 Tuition Fees - Thank you if you have forwarded your payment for
Session 2. Please send in all outstanding payments before the end of term.
Road Closure
Please let all people involved in pick-ups know about the road closure
Roads’ Service has informed us that Moira Road (between the A1 and Hillsborough
Elim Church) will be closed for resurfacing work from Monday 5 December to midJanuary 2017. We know that this may disrupt your journey to and from school, and
buses may run slightly later than planned, but we ask that you are patient during this
period and allow yourself a few extra minutes to get to school. We apologise for any
inconvenience this may cause. Diversion signs have been posted.
Christmas Post Box
The Christmas post box is now closed as next week will be busy with the nativity performances. We hope this service
has worked well for everyone.
After School Activities
All afterschool activities will resume week commencing 16 January 2017. Tag Rugby, will meet for the final session
on Monday 12 December.
Parents’ Prayer Time
Parents will meet for the last time before the holiday season on Monday 19 December at 9.30am in the Library. All
parents and friends are very welcome.
Work at School
We are delighted to officially let you know that the Department of Education has given
the go-ahead for a new classroom to be added on to Meadow Bridge. This will, in effect,
convert the covered area at the upper end of the school into a fully equipped classroom.
The contractors will be moving on to our site on Monday – I realise this is not the best
timing, but we have very little control over these things. Disruption will be kept to a
minimum, and we will keep you informed of the progress of the new build. This is an
exciting time for our school, and the new classroom reflects the continuing success and
increasing numbers we have seen in recent years.
BUSES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE FINAL DAY OF TERM, WEDNESDAY 21 DECEMBER, EITHER FOR THE
MORNING RUN OR THE AFTERNOON RUN. PLEASE MAKE ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS ON THIS DAY
