DIRECTIONS TO CULLINAN From Pretoria East (R12 tollgate on the highway):
Take the N4 freeway towards Witbank until you reach off-ramp 27, the RAYTON/ CULLINAN/ KEMPTON
PARK turn-off. (It is the next turn-off after the Boschkop/Donkerhoek turn-off).
From the off-ramp turn LEFT towards Rayton.
Continue through Rayton and KEEP TO THE SPEED LIMITS.
Pass the Zonderwater prison on your right. Simply follow the signs to the Hospital once you get into
Cullinan.
Take the slipstream to your LEFT at the 4-way stop (Shell Garage on the right corner).
Pass the golf course, cross a railway line and TURN IMMEDIATELY RIGHT into Olienhout Road.
Cross a railway line.
Cross a stop street.
TURN RIGHT at the “PETRA Mine Parking sign (sharp right) and then immediately LEFT into South Street.
TURN RIGHT at the T-junction into Hospital Road, you will see the Premier Mine Pharmacy in front of you
and drive on past Cullinan “Clinix” Hospital.
Keep left of the traffic circle then turn left into Baobab Ave. You will drive about 20 metres until you see
Lakeview Cottage on the right hand side No.3.
DIRECTIONS TO CULLINAN From Oliver Tambo International Airport/ Midrand/
Olifantsfontein:
Travel along the R21. Take the R25 turn-off (Says Bronkhorstspruit, Bapsfontein and Tembisa). This is a hairpin bend.
At the stop,turn towards Bronkhorstspruit. Travel along this road until you come to a T-junction. This is the Old
Pretoria/Delmas Road. At the T-junction turn right towards Delmas and pass the Flight Inn and BP Garage on your
left. At the first 4-way stop street, turn left towards Bronkhorstpruit (still R25).
Carry along this road past the Zestfontein turn-off, past the Welbekend Police station, past the Garsfontein turn-off,
past the Wapadrand turn-off (Conradie Organics on your left), past Klipkop A.H. At the next turn-off (R515), turn left.
This turn-off shows Cullinan and Rayton. Travel along this road past the Boschkop and Donkerhoek turn-offs (Rhino
Park on right and Diamond Hill on right).
Cross over the N4 highway. Cross over 4-way stop and carry on with the R515 towards Cullinan and Rayton (approx.
7 km). Go through Rayton and travel along this road past the Zonderwater Prison. Simply follow the signs to the
Hospital once you get into Cullinan. Take the slipstream to your LEFT at the 4-way stop (Shell Garage on the right
corner). Pass the golf course, cross a railway line and TURN IMMEDIATELY RIGHT into Olienhout Road. Cross a
railway line. Cross a stop street.
TURN RIGHT at the PETRA Mine Parking sign (sharp right) and then immediately LEFT into South Street.
Keep left of the traffic circle then turn left into Baobab Ave. You will drive about 20 metres until you see Lakeview
Cottage on the right hand side No.3.
DIRECTIONS TO CULLINAN From Zambesi Drive – Montana Kolonnade Centre:
Takes about 20-25 minutes from Kolonnade centre.
Zambesi – R513. Continue straight with Zambezi Drive, cross over Moloto Road.
Still going straight on, you will see a sign that reads “Cullinan 25 km” on the R513. Carry on straight for
about 12(space)minutes. Go past four-way intersection at Mamelodi. CARRY ON STRAIGHT (BE VERY
CAREFUL HERE, SLOW DOWN! MANY ACCIDENTS TAKE PLACE HERE– THEY JUST GO THROUGH THE STOP
STREET!!!) ALSO ROAD WORKS CLOSE TO CULLINAN AT THE MOUNTAIN – DO NOTOVERTAKE!
Once you are in Cullinan, you will see a petrol station on your right, go over railway tracks –the road
curves, KEEP LEFT now in Hotel Street. Simply follow the signs to the Hospital once you get into Cullinan.
At the 3-way stop T-junction (Post Office on your left hand side), TURN LEFT into Oak Avenue.
Drive past Harrie’s Pancakes and TURN RIGHT at Premier Dairy on the corner, just before you get to the railway
tracks.
Keep left where the road forks.
Cross 2 railway lines.
TURN LEFT at the stop street into Olienhout Street, drive down until you drive straight into the Mine – you can only:TURN RIGHT at the PETRA Mine Parking sign (sharp right) and then immediately LEFT into South Street.
TURN RIGHT at the T-junction into Hospital Road, you will see the Premier Mine Pharmacy in front of you and drive
on past Cullinan “Clinix” Hospital.
Keep left of the traffic circle then turn left into Baobab Ave. You will drive on (remove) about 20 metres until you see
Lakeview Cottage on the right hand side No.3.
