Registration Renewal Competition
Terms and Conditions
1. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other published
material, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
2. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. The Registration Renewal Competition will run for 12 weeks commencing on Friday
20 February 2015 9:00am (EST) and closing on Wednesday 20 May 2015 at
23:59pm (EST) ("the Promotional Period").
4. The Promoter is the Roads Corporation (ABN 61 760 960 480), trading as VicRoads,
60 Denmark Street, Kew VIC 3101.
5. During the promotional period, registered operators of vehicles registered with the
Promoter (hereafter referred to as Entrant) who make or cause to be made the
registration renewal fee for a vehicle before or by the due date will automatically go
into the draw for the Prize. Employees of the Promoter and its related entities and
associated companies, agencies, suppliers, retailers or companies associated with
this Promotion (and their immediate families) are ineligible to enter.
6. Each entrant has only one entry per registered vehicle.
Entry to the draw for the prize occurs at the time the entrant: Makes or causes to
be made the the payment for the full amount required for the registration
renewal of a vehicle. The total amount will be the amount shown on the
registration renewal advice issued by the Promoter.
7. The winner will be drawn through random selection at the end of the Promotional
Period.
8. If the prize is not claimed within 14 days of the initial notification, another reserve
winner selected randomly at the same time as the winner will be notified. This
process may be repeated as often as necessary.
9. The total prize pool is $1,000 which is correct as at the commencement of the
Promotional Period. The prize is listed in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST.
10. The prize is non-transferable and non-negotiable. There are no cash alternatives. The
Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. The Promoter reserves the
right to substitute (any part of) the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, if this
is necessary for reasons beyond its control.

11. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the promoter may contact them
directly to discuss potential promotional opportunities which may include a Social
Media promotional story about their weekend in Marysville.
12. The prize may only be booked via TFE Hotels. The prize and booking of the prize are
subject to the standard booking terms and conditions of the TFE hotels.
13. Bookings must be made directly with Vibe Hotel Marysville by 21 May 2016
14. The prize winner will be responsible for payment of any amount in excess of the Prize
value
15. Once the prize has been booked, full amendment and cancellation fees apply to the
Prize winner as per the standard booking terms and conditions of TFE hotels.
16. The Prize does not include transport charges, transfers, visas, travel insurance,
pre/post accommodation, spending money, excursions/tours, optional activities,
freight tipping, extension of stay, additional guests, passports, visas or any other
items not articulated in the prize details
17. The prize has blackout travel periods as stipulated by provider of the Prize and all
bookings are subject to availability
18. The Promoter will handle any personal information submitted as part of the
Competition in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
19. Payments which are received after the end of the Promotional Period or which are
incomplete, or which are determined as inappropriate in nature by the Promoter, will
automatically be deemed to be invalid.
20. The winner will be randomly drawn on Thursday 21 May 2015 and notified via
direct mail. The winner will be required to email [email protected] to claim
their prize within 14 days. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will
be entered into in relation to the selection of the winners.
21. VicRoads will confirm payment of the registration fee before or by the due date by
conducting a vehicle registration check to ensure that the payment was received by
its due date.
Disclaimers
22. At the time of payment, entrants are deemed to have read, understood and to agree
with these terms and conditions. VicRoads reserves the right to rule on any issue(s)
not covered by these terms and conditions. In the event that an entrant should
disagree with any decision made by VicRoads, that entrant will have the right to
withdraw his or her entry.
23. VicRoads (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including
liability for negligence) for any loss or damage arising in any way out of the
Competition.
24. VicRoads accepts no liability for payments that were lost, not received or incorrectly
submitted or the loss of opportunity to be part of the promotion where a registration
renewal notice was not sent or delivered to the registered operator.
25. The vouchers awarded as the prize is subject to the conditions on the voucher
(including an expiry date, if applicable), and VicRoads is not responsible for any
failure by the prize winner to satisfy those conditions.
