It specifically targets the gibberellic acid site responsible for cell elongation in grass. Not only does ‘Primo MAXX’ inhibit vertical growth but actually diverts plant growth downward into the root system to produce increased food reserves and lateral stem development. This in turn produces a thicker, healthier sward that better equips your turf to withstand temperature extremes, moisture loss, traffic and wear and even helps in the management of Poa annua. ‘Primo MAXX’ can be used on all well maintained quality turf grass areas. It can also be used to help manage areas which Primo MAXX Contains 25% w/w trinexapac-ethyl as a liquid MAPP No. 13374 Pack size: 0.5 & 5 litre bottles Packs per outer: 20 x 0.5 litres 4 x 5 litres Pack coverage: Variable Water volume: 300-600 litres per hectare Period of use JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUN JUL AUG SEP O OCT NOV DEC are difficult to mow such as sloping banks or turf edges by flower beds and pavements. GREENS APPLICATION PROGRAMME First application: Mid April Application frequency: Every 3 to 4 weeks. Height of cut: 7mm or less. Dose rate: Apply at a rate of 0.4 litres/hectare throughout the season. Additional information: Extend seasons if growth starts early or finishes late. TEES APPLICATION PROGRAMME First application: Mid April Application frequency: Every 4 to 8 weeks. Height of cut: 10-18mm. Dose rate: 0.8 litres/hectare for 10 mm cut; up to 1.6 litres/hectare for 18mm cut height. Additional information: If tees are of dwarf perennial ryegrass consider increasing the frequency of application. FAIRWAYS & AMENITY APPLICATION PROGRAMME First application: Mid April Application frequency: Every 4 to 8 weeks. Height of cut: Less than 18mm. Dose rate: 1.6 litres/hectare for fine turf fairways, up to 2.4 litres/hectare for predominantly perennial ryegrass turf. Additional information: For fairways cut at lower heights (approx. 12mm or less) make more frequent applications, but reduce rates. Primo MAXX promotes increased root growth for improved drought tolerance and general plant health Primo MAXX was voted the No. 1 NUMBER advancement in modern greenkeeping, in a survey for Golfweek’s SuperNEWS. It was cited as the first PGR that could be safely and predictably used on all fine turf areas, which has proven an invaluable tool to save mowing labour and maximise turf colour and density ROUGH & SEMI-ROUGH APPLICATION PROGRAMME First application: Mid April Application frequency: Every 5 to 8 weeks. Height of cut: More than 18mm. Dose rate: 2.4 litres/hectare for fine turf mixtures, up to 3.2 litres/hectare for predominantly perennial ryegrass turf. WINTER SPORTS PITCHES First application: Mid April Application frequency: Every 4 to 6 weeks. Height of cut: 10mm and above. Dose rate: 0.8 litres/hectare for the first application. Following this, use 0.8 litres/hectare for turf cut below 18mm, 1.6 litres/hectare for turf cut higher than 18mm. In certain situations (very vigorous growth, high maintenance inputs) it may be appropriate to increase the rate up to the maximum label rate of 3.2 litres/hectare. Regulates vertical grass growth and promotes a high quality, short, dense sward of healthier turf for consistent greens and perfect fairways 31
