The Britannia Municipal Council convened their Regular Meeting in the Council
Chambers of the Rural Municipality of Britannia Office at 9:00 am,
April 13, 2016 with Reeve John Light presiding.

SCHINDEL: That we agree to accept the minutes of the March 23, 2016 Regular
Meeting of Council as presented.

am.

SCHINDEL: That we agree to get legal advice on how to move forward with
commercial properties in relation to our new Official Community Plan and
Zoning Bylaw.

NOBLE: That council approve the subdivision application in-principle known as

with the proposed subdivision

CRUSH: That Council supports the application to subdivide SE 26-52-27W3

Clothing Allowance for Staff
CRUSH: That the Municipality provide full-time annual outside workers with a
maximum annual clothing allowance of $500.00 and seasonal workers a
maximum annual clothing allowance of $250.00 for the purchase of safety boots,
coveralls and winter or rain gear upon production of a receipt.

provincial highways or a greater distance as required by the Ministry of
Highways and Infrastructure

Approach Application
COLLINS: That council approve the approach application on the SE 05-5027W3M LSD 1 known as File # APR005-2016 with the following conditions:
 The approach must be constructed to the R.M. of Britannia Approach
Standards;
 The applicant is responsible for all costs of constructing the approach
including the culvert;
 No permanent structures of any kind shall be put within 150 feet from the
center of the road allowance;
 The R.M. of Britannia No. 502 shall have the right to back slope if
necessary for road construction purposes;
 That the applicant shall agree to indemnify and save harmless the R.M. of
Britannia No. 502 from and against all loss, costs, charges, damages
(including the R.M. of Britannia No. 502 property) and expenses which
the R.M. of Britannia No. 502 may suffer or sustain as a result of the
operations by the applicant on the demised premises.
