RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF BRITANNIA NO. 502 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING HELD April 13, 2016 The Britannia Municipal Council convened their Regular Meeting in the Council Chambers of the Rural Municipality of Britannia Office at 9:00 am, April 13, 2016 with Reeve John Light presiding. CARRIED SE 15-50-28 W3 Parcel G&F Subdivision Application NOBLE: That council approve the subdivision application in-principle known as Community Planning File R0242-16s with the following conditions: That the Municipality refers the application to the Lloydminster Planning District Commission (LPDC) That the Consolidation of the proposed parcels happens in conjunction with the proposed subdivision CARRIED SE 26-52-27 W3M Subdivision Application CRUSH: That Council supports the application to subdivide SE 26-52-27W3 allowing three (3) subdivided parcels no smaller than 1.2 acres and no bigger than 10.00 acres for the purpose of residential use, provided that each acreage has approaches approved by either the Ministry of Highways or the municipality. CARRIED SW 18-50-26W3M Parcel A Subdivision Application FORLAND: That council approves the subdivision application known as Community Planning File R0259-16s with the following conditions: That the applicant enters into a service agreement to upgrade Range Road 3270 to Municipal Standards That the applicant will be required to provide an expanded road right-ofway of an additional 17 feet along the entire west boundary of SW 18-5026W3M adjacent to Range Road #3270. CARRIED Policy Manual Update SCHINDEL: That we agree to amend our vacation pay policy to allow outside staff who work an eight and six shift to take vacation pay payouts in lieu of time off. CARRIED Beaver Grant COLLINS: That we agree to apply for the 2016 Beaver Control grant CARRIED Royal Canadian Legion Advertising SCHINDEL: That we agree to purchase a business card sized advertisement for the Royal Canadian Legion Military Service Recognition Book at a cost of $195.00 CARRIED Emergency Measures Radios COLLINS: That we agree to allow the Northwest Mutual Aid Group access to our radio system and mobile command center radios for the purpose of setting up communication in preparation of an emergency situation.
