In all 34 events the following will be paid...

If an athlete achieves a new Personal Best during the course of the event and finishes within the Top 4 they
will receive the following amount instead:1st with new PB

Athletes in the top 3 will be presented with medals and the winner a bottle of Heidseick & Co Monopole
Champagne.
In addition to the prize money above…
P10 Bonus
If an athlete wins their event and achieves a newly improved or first time P10 National mark at the Final they
will win the number of points they achieved from their `Fantastic Four` during the course of McCain UK
Challenge. This would be the total paid overall and would not include an additional amount for first place.
Eg, based on 2006…if Leon Baptiste wins the 100m and achieves a newly improved or first time National
P10 mark he would win £654 (as his points total for the year).
McCAIN UK £5K Golden Challenge
If athletes achieve all of the following criteria:- Achieve the highest points or equal highest, based on performance points not bonus points, at one of the
47 Challenge qualifying events.
- Top of their Individual Event Rankings after all 47 qualifying events.
- McCain UK Challenge Champion in their relevant event at the Final.
They will either win outright or take a share of £5000. If 2 or more athletes achieve the criteria they will share
equally the prize fund.
