PART 1





Create an 8.5 x 11 inch document
Copy and paste or Place your celebrity image into Illustrator.
Use Image Trace and then create a vector version of it trying different possibilities.
Use Clipping Mask to mask it
Save as a PDF and label lastname_celebrity trace and upload to indicated Google Drive
folder
PART 2






Make a new 8.5x11 document and create three 3 x 4 inch rounded rectangles adding a
small black stroke to create the outline of your playing cards.
Use your celebrity and other image tracing and create three playing cards of different
types (spades, clubs, diamonds, or hearts with letters and/or numbers.)
You can use layers to organize your artwork
Use the align palette and smart guides to create precise and evenly spaced characters.
When done, save it as an AI document and a copy of your file as a PDF
Upload the PDF to the indicated Google Drive folder on schedule.
