Single Event-Funding (10,994.56)

Falcon Fanatics
-Kyle moves to entertain the single even request. Alex seconds. Reasoning is to hear the details
before making a decision and just approved as an org.
-Motion passes with 5 ayes, and 1 nay.
-Just became an org 2 weeks ago, and still wanted to try to make the event.
-Falcon Fanatics' main goal is to improve the school spirit and attendance at UWRF athletic events.
On November 17 UWRF is hosting a basketball doubleheader! The Women's basketball team plays
Carleton at 6:00 followed by the Men's team hosting Bethel at 8:00. Beginning at 4:00 we are hosting
a pregame party in the Hagestad Center lobby! We will have a bags tournament, Little Caesars Pizza,
drinks and music! The first 100 students for each game will receive a UWRF rally towel and will get
put into a drawing to win a basketball signed by the members of both teams! Our hope is the event
will encourage students to come to both games to support our Falcons!
-Asking for $225 for Rally towels, $25 for basketball, and $50 for sign making.
-Huge negative response is that it was not in the thirty days and is happening in less than 2 weeks.
–Event funding is denied, 0 Ayes, 6 Nays.
