The meeting had been called to discuss the proposal being put forward by Clare Waller who
had approached the Committee with a proposition to run the Club as a business operated
by herself and supported by her husband, Harvey Waller.
Clare outlined her plans and there followed a question and answer session.
Clare and Harvey then left the meeting and there followed a discussion by the committee.
The decision was taken that the proposal would not be put forward to Club members and
the majority decision of the Committee would be final.
A secret ballot was done and the proposition was rejected by 7 votes to 6. The Club will
therefore continue under the management of Jason with Nicola as the Bar manager.
There being no further business the meeting was closed.
