Patient Survey 2012/2013 100 questionnaires given out – 93 returned 1) Did you know that the Practice takes part in Electronic Prescribing? (Which means that your repeat prescriptions can be sent directly to the Chemist) Yes 71% No 29% Action plan – Survey shows that most patients are aware of this service, but we will put a reminder in our Feedback Newsletter 2) Did you know that some appointments can be booked online? Yes 16% No 84% Action Plan – Most of the appointments that can be booked online are the Extended Hours appointments with the Drs ie late evenings and Saturdays. We feel this may be the reason that lots of patients are not aware of this service because they do not use these appointments. However, we will mention this booking option in the Feedback Newsletter 3) Did you know that we have 2 Nurse Practitioners (Sally and Sarah) ? Yes 76% No 24% Do you know what they can do? Yes 43% No 57% Action Plan – Although the majority of patients know that we have Nurse Practitioners, less than half know what services/treatments they can offer. We will list services that the NPs can offer in the Feedback Newsletter, and update the Practice Leaflet. 4) Do you know we have a Stop Smoking Advisor? Yes 42% No 8.5% Don’t Smoke 49.5% Action Plan – Continue to promote the Stop Smoking Advisor Service. 5) Do you know how to contact a Doctor when the surgery is closed? Yes 72% No 27% Probably 1% Action Plan – This questionnaire was drawn up before the introduction of the 111 service on 12th March 2013. We will ensure that when all Posters and Leaflets are available from the Project Team, they are displayed in the reception/waiting area. Recorded telephone messages at the Practice,the Practice Website and Practice Leaflet have already been updated with this new information. Practice Nurse and Health Care Assistants questionnaires attained over 75% good and very good. However less than 4% feedback was marked as poor Although this is a small percentage the Practice will continue to review the situation.
