The Native Title Officer Funding Scheme (the scheme) is administered under the Native Title (Assistance from
the Attorney-General) Guidelines 2012 (the Guidelines).
Directions for completing this form and the relevant documents that must be submitted with the
application
This application form must be completed in accordance with the Guidelines and Information sheet
(Attached). Applications must be accompanied by:



a proposed Native Title Officer (NTO) duty statement
documents to evidence your organisation’s ability to match Commonwealth funding, for example,
evidence of the proposed NTO’s annual salary or work arrangements, and
most recent annual financial statement (if exceptional circumstances apply) setting out annual income
from all sources, total value of all assets and total balance of all savings/shares.

Late or incomplete applications
The Attorney-General’s Department (the department) will not assess late or incomplete applications.
Applications will be deemed incomplete if:



all questions are not answered, or are only partially answered
the proposed NTO duty statement is not provided, and/or
the required supporting documentation is not provided.
