Walking is easy, fun and great for everyone; all
you need are a pair of comfortable shoes and
dress for our infamous Scottish weather.
We have lots of paths waiting for you to explore.
Walk and Talk Week is your chance to get out
and about, meet new people and see what the
Falkirk area has to offer.
Meet; Stenhousemuir Football Club
Time: 1pm to register, walk starts 2pm
Come and join us as we “Walk & Talk” our way
round Larbert and Stenhousemuir – you can
choose our family-friendly 5km or 10km route.
Both walks start and finish at Stenhousemuir
Football Club and everyone taking part will get
a medal and goody bag. So come along, enjoy
a blether with friends, and have a fun day out.

If you’ve caught the walking bug and want to continue beyond Walk &
Talk Week, why not sign up for the Big Fit Walkabout?
The Big Fit Walkabout is a new Challenge for 2012. In the year of the London Olympics we
realised that although we can’t all be Olympic athletes, we can be inspired to challenge
ourselves to be more active and feel the difference by stepping out from our own doorsteps.
Register for the Big Fit Walkabout Challenge and you will receive your own diary and
wristband to support you to take up a 22 week challenge of recording 30 minutes of walking
up to 5 times a week. There is no charge for taking part and there are bronze, silver and gold
certificates for those who reach three different levels of achievement in this first year of
Walkabout.
Register and join in any time in 2012 by visiting www.bigfitwalk.co.uk
