Taupo Mathematics Curriculum – Curriculum content will differ amongst the five classrooms. The Taupo syndicate currently
group/stream their students into 5 different groups according to ability and need. If you have any questions about the math’s
programme please ask the classroom teacher that is aligned with your child.

Setting Goals for the Production
Persuasive writing piece – persuasive argument about why their chosen celebrity should by a judge on our show
Poetic Writing/Performing Arts – write a song parody of a song of your choice – create a film clip to accompany your song.
Oral Language – recite a poem or extract from a character that you liked in a particular scene, or recite a poem and
particular piece or writing that you like - the recital could be in the form of a monologue or soliloquy.
Social Science – Research the history of music and in particular talent shows that have screened on New Zealand
television, complete a timeline of these.
