Paradise Palms Resort
Our lovely townhouse is located in a 5 Star Gated Community at only 37 minutes by car
(43km) from Orlando Int. Airport.
The price varies depending on the season (see separate price list). The invoice will be sent
from our company here in Sweden (money on the account = booked). If you rent your home
for a week or more, final cleaning includes in the price. Is the plan to rent the dwelling 6 days
or less a cost of 700 kr for final cleaning will incur.
If you book last minute (less than 3 weeks before arrival), we offer 20 % discount on the entire
reservation cost.
If you cancel the reservation more than 60 days before arrival day you will get back 100% of
the rental amount. If you cancel between 30 and 60 days before arrival you will get back 50%
of the rental amount. If you would cancel less than 30 days before the intended date of arrival
you will not get back any of your rental amount. This is for us to have any chance of filling up
the empty slots.
We have code locks to the house and the code is retrieved at the Florida Scandi's office. The
office is located on the road between the airport and the house (see separate directions).
Florida Scandi is a company we’ve hired to take care of the rental for us in USA (see separate
information about check-in, check-out and opening hours).
The townhouse is about 170 squares in size and it’s divided into 2 floors.
Bed linen, towels and beach towels are available and all are made and ready when you arrive.
Lower level
The level consists of a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, stove, oven, large fridge and freezer,
large dishwasher, toaster, kettle, etc.) with a bar table and 4 associated barstools. In the living
room there’s a large flat-screen TV and a sofa with chaise and related armchair and a footstool.
In the dining room there’s a dining table with a sofa and 4 chairs, a total of six seats. The
bedroom has a double bed and a bathroom which contains a shower, a sink and a toilet.
There’s also a patio with tables and chairs where breakfast can be eaten. The patio is also
equipped with a private pool (heating is extra charge).
Upper level
The level consists of a Master bedroom with a double bed and a flat-screen TV. The master
bedroom is associated with a bathroom with two sinks, a tub and a toilet. Bedroom number 2
has a double bed and a flat-screen TV. Bedroom number 3 has bunk beds; the bottom bunk is a
wider bed where two people can sleep, this room also has a flat-screen TV. On the upper floor
there is also a second bathroom with a shower, a sink and a toilet which is shared with
bedroom 2 and 3. All bedrooms are equipped with chest of drawers and spacious closets with
attached hangers.
The townhouse is alarmed and equipped with free WiFi, a washer and a dryer (if you need the
code to the WiFi it’s at the entrance of the kitchen, otherwise ask for it in the clubhouse). The
thermostat to the air conditioner sits by the hall on the upper floor. 2-3 free parking slots are
available outside (when you register in the clubhouse you’ll get a parking permission which you
put in the car window). Television channel supply is abundant with well over 100 channels.

All of the above, you can use for free. Basketball, tennis and table tennis rackets are available
to borrow at the reception.
The clubhouse also has a small mini market that has a little bit of food and a Tikibar which
serves lunch, ice cream and beverages.
The area is known as a gated community and is located in Kissimmee (Orlando), about 10
minutes by car from Disney World. There’s a lot to see and do within 1.5 hour radius by car
(Disneyworld, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, Kennedy Space Center, Busch Garden, Discovery
Cove, Wet 'n Wild, Orlando Premium Outlet, Clearwater Beach, shooting range, helicopter
tours, motocross rentals, hot air balloon trip, fishing trip with guide, rodeo show, NHL hockey,
NBA - basketball, MLB - Baseball).
Tips from us:
According to us, Universal Studios is by far the best amusement park to visit. Are you looking
for a longer trip, it might be nice to go down to Key West. If you’re going there we advise you
to stay at least one night and also stay overnight in Florida Beach on the way down and Fort
Lauderdale on the way home (to visit the gigantic Sawgrass Mills mall in Fort Lauderdale is a
must).
If you want to go on a day trip full of sun and sea at a beach we recommend Clearwater Beach
which is located on the Gulf of Mexico (approximately 1.5 hours distance by car).
If you want to shop closer to home, there are 2 Orlando Premium Outlets within 30 min drive.
The amount of restaurants is plentiful and we've tried a number of different places. We
strongly advise on some of our favorites:
Bonefish Grill (located along route 192) serves fantastic fish dishes. Do not miss their famous
Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer.
Then we have Olive Garden and Carrabba's, two Italian restaurant chains (located along
Route 192). They have really good Italian food.
When we're talking Pizza Papa John's Pizza has been our favorite, we can also recommend
Flipper's Pizza (these two are also along route 192).
Then we come to the typical American food, grilled. There’s a place along route 192 which is
called Texas Roadhouse, they have really nice steaks.
Last but not least, Manny's Original Chophouse. This restaurant is located about 30 minutes
from the house away from the "tourist hook". This place is more for the locals. The place is a
little bit noisy but the food is divine. Strongly recommend their Boneless Pork Chops, never
tasted a juicier pork chop before.
