The Daily Flintstone 35 B.C. Faster than you can say Yabba Dabba Doo! Ancient Rome Art A Sculptures Review By Hayden Schreier Hello I am an artist from Ancient Rome. I love my works of sculpting; they are each a masterpiece of perfect balance. Well, most of the sculptures that I create are from what I see; sometimes my colleagues and I will steal Greek sculptures and recreate them or just keep them. When I sculpt, I stress realism as if the statue was alive. My sculptures are flawless just like the person or item I am sculpting. I sell my sculptures to many families that portray their ancestors who have passed. These sculptures are made to specifically honor their memory. I take interest in perfecting the busts on my sculptures. If my artwork is too difficult for me, sometimes I sculpt from the shoulders up to really show precise detail. Even though the people I sculpt might have flaws and wrinkles I just see them as artwork. In my eyes perfect is what my artwork work will look like completed, even if the person I’m drawing isn’t. Some of my colleagues specify work in columns. Oh! I even remember when they were asked by the emperor to sculpt the Trojan’s Columns, which were built in Rome in 113 to celebrate his victory over Dacia. It had magnificent images in the relief that showed scenes from the Dacian battles winding up the columns about 100 feet. The Disc Thrower Source: Empire of Ancient Rome, By-Michael Burgan
