Installing Office 365 applications to your computer Go to the following address ​www.office.com​ and click the “Sign in”­button on the top­right corner. You will see the page pictured below: Log in using your user ID/student ID (username@domain, example user ID [email protected]). You will be redirected to the luc login­page which looks like this: Type in your username and password to the corresponding boxes (username = “käyttäjänimi”, password = “salasana”) and then click on the “Kirjaudu sisään”­button (login­button). If your student ID and password were correct, you will be directed to the Office main page. From the top­right corner you can find a “Install Office”­button (“Asenna Office” in Finnish). By clicking it your download will start automatically (your browser may ask you to confirm the download) and you’ll see a window appear with a simple guide on how to continue with the installation. Basically you need to wait for the download to finish, run the installation and then log in using your user ID. Method #2: Log in to the school email (Outlook) in ​www.outlook.luc.fi​ using your user ID. After logging in, click on the “Settings”­button (pictured as a gearwheel, marked with an arrow in the top part of the picture). Your settings will appear and in the bottom part you can see “My app settings”­section, inside that you will find a link called “Office 365” (marked with an arrow). Click on it and you will be redirected to your Office settings page. Click on the “Software ­ install software”­button (marked with an arrow) and it will take you to the Office software page. Language settings are marked inside the red box, change this before downloading the installation file if needed. On the bottom part of the page, you can see the “Install”­button (“Asenna”, marked with an arrow).
