BENEFITS OF PLAYING BC MINOR BASEBALL AT PBSA 2015 The Peninsula Baseball and Softball Association has had the privilege of being affiliated with the Greater Victoria Baseball Association (GVBA) playing baseball under the BC Minor Baseball rules of play since 2006. BC Minor divisions up until Midget are all two year age groups based on calendar year of birth so you can play with all your classmates each year. The following is intended to outline the ball playing opportunities offered at PBSA and being played out of Rotary Park - Field of Dreams adjacent the Victoria Airport. Players Born in 2010 & 2011 U5 – Little Sluggers Contact: Dave Swinton [email protected] Every Saturday morning at 9:00. This program will offer a very basic introduction to the sport. It will be held at the same time as our Rally Cap and Tadpole clinics on Saturday mornings. Nominal registration fee to cover some of the cost of a t-shirt and hat. Twice a year (midseason and end of season) all players are tested in five disciplines (Throwing, Catching, Hitting, Running and Knowledge of the Game). The average results of the five disciplines dictate what colour of 'Rally Cap' the child earns. The players will have four Rally Cap days in the two year program to see how high they can achieve.
