CommonRulesforAllCompetitions
Competingstudentsmustnothaveperformedprofessionallyunderfull-timecontract,orhavebeenpreviously
offeredsuchemploymentbyvirtueofwinningafull-time,professionalaudition.
Thejudgesreservetherightnottochooseawinner,shouldthequalityofperformancesmeritsuchadecision.The
FirstPrizewinnersofthesoloandquartetcompetitionswillbeofferedtheopportunitytoperformattheFinal
ConcertonSunday,March19,2017,anda$75.00cashprize.Eachmemberofthewinningquartetwillalsoreceive
a$75.00cashprize.
Studentsmaystandorsittoperform.Studentsarenotrequiredtoperformfrommemory.However,students
usingmusicmustperformfromlegalprintedcopies:nophotocopiesorscannedcopiesofmusicarepermitted.
Studentsneednotsupplyjudgeswithscorecopies.
Allroundswillbeopenforpublicviewing.

Eligibility:Studentsenteringthiscompetitionmustbecurrentlyenrolledinhighschool(grades9–12)orinahomeschoolingprogramandyoungerthan19yearsoldonMarch17,2017.
