A couple of things:
• I have placed a reading log in your child’s homework
folder. This is a simple sheet to fill out to go along with
your child’s reading. Children should be reading for no less
than 10-15 minutes a day, but are always encouraged to
do more. Please make sure this log comes back to school
with your child on Friday with the rest of the homework.
• On Friday we will have our Parker History Field Trip. We
are scheduled to leave at 9:30 and return to school at 2.
Please make sure your child comes to school with
comfortable shoes, a sack lunch, and a water bottle
(preferably labeled). We will be doing a lot of walking on
this field trip, so we need to make sure they are prepared.
Our Move It Challenge is going to be on Tuesday,
September 30th. Please make sure your pledge forms are
turned in by Thursday, September 25th.
We will not have school on Friday, September 26th!
