Coaches are to ensure that players
participate in a formal warm up and
cool down procedure.
Players are to wear correct footwear
and their laces are to be fully tied at all
times. The Coach/Umpire will ensure
that this is adhered to.
Players must remove all jewellery
before matches commence.

attending to their injury.

supervising teacher/coach must be

coaches/teachers to make sure that
each pupil has adequate fluid for each
match.
If the player is unwell or injured then it
is advised that they do not play
depending on what the Coach sees fit.

participating school to make sure

make sure that the rules set by AENA
are observed.
Individuals are advised it is their
responsibility to play within the rules.
Consistent failure to do so or
dangerous play will result in the player
being requested to play no further part
in the competition.
The posts should already be erect and
the tournament organisers will check
that they are secure.
If coaches/teachers have any concerns
regarding faulty lighting, slippery
floors/courts, defective equipment etc.
then these faults should be reported in

dangerous the outside tournaments
will not go ahead.
Umpires should also check the safety
of courts. Umpires should evaluate
conditions (e.g. icy, wet, poorly

the first instance to the tournament

Reception at the Sports Centre.
