The aim is to collect as many wedding tokens as possible, and encourage your friends and
family to do the same.
Every day (Mon-Sat) from Saturday 11February until Saturday 11 March we will be printing
Win a Wedding tokens. Keep your eyes open for bonus token days which will be worth 50.
All wedding tokens must be submitted attached to the Token Collect sheets (enclosed) along
with a completed Token Submission Form (also enclosed). Wedding tokens will be colour
coded, and you must match the same colours to the correct forms.
When printing your token collection sheets out remember to print them on A4, using actual size
or 100% settings so that the tokens printed in paper fit nicely on your sheets. It is permitted
for the token collect sheets to be photocopied if you don’t want to have to print it lots of times,
but photocopied tokens will not be accepted and will not be counted.
If you are unable to access a printer then please contact us and we will happily send the
welcome pack out to you in the post. The token collect sheets will also be available to
download from the competition page.
If you have any friends or family collecting for you, please ensure they get the tokens to you to
include with your collection to be submitted all as one package.
Deadline for wedding token submissions will be 12pm noon, Wednesday March 15. This is a
strict deadline and will not be moved. Any tokens submitted after this date will therefore not be
counted. The couple who submit the most tokens will be the winners.

TIPS ON HOW TO COLLECT
COLLECTION - TOP TIPS
Here we offer a handful of tips in support of your Win a Wedding token collect. Even little things
can make a big difference - every little counts. Remember, there is only one prize and tokens are
the key, so get as many people involved as possible. The couple who submit the most tokens are
the winners.

1. Rally your supporters. From parents and grandparents, family and friends, to neighbours and colleagues,
tell everyone about your Win a Wedding effort and encourage them to collect tokens on your behalf.
2. Don’t be afraid to get the wider community involved by putting up posters and placing token collection
boxes in trusted areas such as staff canteens, front counters in local shops and office areas.
3. Look out for bonus token days in the Gloucester Citizen, Gloucestershire Echo and even Stroud Life
when we will be issuing a bonus number of tokens. We will ensure everyone knows when they appear.
Please note that photocopied tokens or tokens taken from promotional (non-paid for) copies will not be
counted and could result in you being removed from the competition.
4. Look out for our active newspaper sellers. For each newspaper bought from them, you can get an
additional win a wedding token, up to a maximum of 10 per day per seller. Remember to give them your
unique 4 digit code so that the voucher gets counted against your total token collection. We will ensure
that everyone knows when and where the newspaper sellers will be each week, so keep an eye on your
emails!

5. From Saturday 11 February until the token submission deadline, Gloucestershire Plus members
automatically get 50 bonus tokens by logging into their account online. But don’t worry if you aren’t a
plus member you can register your details to claim an additional 5 tokens at
www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/plus . Encourage your friends to do the same but remember to give them
your unique 4 digit code so they can vote for you!
6. Why not set up a Facebook campaign to encourage awareness and inform friends to share your posts to
spread the word even further. Regularly update your collection circle to remind them to keep collecting.
Don’t forget to let everyone know your 4 digit unique couple code.
7. Spread the word. Maybe write a guest list now and let them know if they help you win, they will be on
the guest list and will be joining you on the dream wedding! If you have small children, remind parents in
the playground and ask them to collect for you.

Wedding Token Party? Remind everyone collecting for you that they need to get the tokens to you in
order for them to count, so how about arranging a party at home before the closing date? Inviting
everyone to bring along their tokens to help you put stick down all your tokens on your collection sheets.
