Ludwig Theuvsen, born 1963, is a full professor of Management in Agribusiness at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at University of Goettingen, Germany. His research interests include various aspects of agribusiness management, including quality management, certification systems, food labelling, strategic management, human resource management and organization of food supply chains. In various research projects he has empirically analysed agribusiness subsectors such as the dairy sector and the meat industry. Professor Theuvsen is currently member of the Editorial Board of German Journal of Agricultural Economics, the Editorial Advisory Board of Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences and the International Advisory and Editorial Board of Journal on Chain and Network Science. The Georg-August University of Goettingen, Germany, is one of Germany’s leading higher education institutions with about 26,000 students.
