I am applying for an Assistant Principal position
within the Stokes County School system. I look
forward to working directly with the school
principal to manage, direct, and coordinate all
aspects within the school. Stokes County Schools
not only make AYP each year, but last year they
were ranked as one of the top 10 schools in the
state by their AYP scores. I would like to be a part
of Stokes County Schools because of their strong
commitment to excellence while still offering a
positive working environment within a rural
setting.
To obtain an administrative position
where my knowledge and experience
will help in communicating the
philosophy and goals of the school and
meet the school’s educational objectives
in an accurate, professional and ethical
manner.
I believe that through the power and
excitement of creative and motivational
educators, an intrinsic love of learning will be
instilled in students. This love of learning can
be carried throughout their lives. Through
instruction, technology, differentiation, and
community/parent involvement, the students
will be molded into successful and contributing
members of society. I would like to see every
student learn to celebrate and accept diversity,
to appreciate individual strengths and to
discover that opportunities await them around
every corner.
As educators, we must instill into our students
critical and creative thinking, teamwork,
interpersonal and communication skills. These
skills will enable our students to succeed in a
constantly changing global society.
I believe that school should be a place of
excellence where children can achieve full
potential in their academic, creative, personal,
physical and moral development. Such a
school will produce not only successful
students , but leaders in a highly competitive
21st century.
