OFFICER REPORTS
The President first reminded everyone that we have a Panhellenic meeting on June 4th at
10am. The location is to be determined. Next, the President discussed that the
recommendations for the intake plan are now complete. She and the IFC President are just
waiting to meet with Dr. Watkins and President Harrison. All updates will be sent out to
chapter presidents. If delegates are having issues with presidents telling them how the
chapter thinks they should vote, the President suggests going with the Membership Chair
to recruitment meetings so they know what is going on.
The Vice President just wanted to remind everyone that the last day to turn in the
Supportive Sorority Point Form will be on June 1st. Please send her the forms and the proof
of attendance to her email. The Vice President will be giving out the plaque to the winner
at our meeting on June 4th.
The Secretary thanked everyone for being so good about sending in announcements every
week. It is much appreciated!
The Recruitment Chair first wanted to congratulate everyone that was selected to be a Rho
Gamma. She is looking forward to working with everyone!
The Rho Gamma Chair first congratulated all the Rho Gammas that have been selected. She
is excited to work with them. The first meeting will be after finals. Next, the Rho Gamma
Chair announced that the PHC/Rho Gamma Retreat will be from July 10-12 at the UCLA Tri
Delta house. Rho Gammas are not allowed to attend any chapter retreats over the summer.
Finally, Rho Gammas and Council members are not allowed to attend any workshops.
The Programming Chair announced that the money from Greek Week will be funding a
little boy’s wish, and hopefully next year he will be able to attend Greek Week and give a
presentation. The Programming Chair also announced that she is working on something to
give to the 2nd and 3rd place winners of Greek Week, and will be adding the letters to the
trophies.
The Public Relations first requested to have everyone check the website over the summer
for updates. She will be putting together the newsletter, which she would like all chapter
members to send to their advisors and alumni. The PR Chair is hoping to have it completed
by the last week of school and it will be emailed out. Next, the PR Chair asked to have
updated photos and information sent to her to update the website before recruitment.
Lastly, the PR Chair asked to please send her announcements over the summer to keep
people updated.
