Ephesians 2:1-3
As for you, you were dead in your
transgressions and sins, 2 in which
you used to live when you followed
the ways of this world and of the
ruler of the kingdom of the air, the
spirit who is now at work in those
who are disobedient.
3 All of us also lived among them
at one time, gratifying the cravings
of our sinful nature and following
its desires and thoughts.
Acts 19:17 – 20
When this became known to the
Jews and Greeks living in
Ephesus, they were all seized
with fear, and the name of the
Lord Jesus was held in high
honor. 18 Many of those who
believed now came and openly
confessed their evil deeds.
19 A
number who
had practiced
sorcery brought
their scrolls
together and
burned them
publicly. When they calculated
the value of the scrolls, the total
came to fifty thousand drachmas.

In this way the word of the
Lord spread widely and grew in
power.
Ephesians 5:8-11
For you were once darkness, but
now you are light in the Lord. Live
as children of light 9 (for the fruit of
the light consists in all goodness,
righteousness and truth) 10 and
find out what pleases the Lord. 11
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather
expose them.

• know your own strengths or
resources needed to fight the battle
• know your enemy as best you
can
• get into battle position.
Spiritual Warfare
Ephesians 6:10-13 – Finally, be
strong in the Lord and in his
mighty power. 11 Put on the full
armor of God so that you can
take your stand against the
devil's schemes.

For our struggle is not against
flesh and blood, but against the
rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual
forces of evil in the heavenly
realms.

Therefore put on the full
armor of God, so that when the
day of evil comes, you may be
able to stand your ground, and
after you have done everything,
to stand.
1. Know Your Own Strengths

Finally, be strong in the Lord
and in his mighty power. 11 Put
on the full armor of God.
There is an enemy without

Awareness of our Great Future

A Supernatural Battle
must be fought . . .
