This workshop will focus on the modern approach to
litigation and latest developments in case management.
This is an excellent development opportunity for those
attorneys involved in High Court litigation and those who
wish to litigate in the High Court.
Presenter
The workshop will be led by Ismail Hussain SC who is a
former Judge of the High Court and Competition Appeal
Court. He has been a popular LEAD trainer for many years.

Preparing to litigate, what to do before filing pleadings.

Pleading in a manner that is persuasive.

How and when to appoint a case manager.

Conducting litigation with a case manager.

Effective preparation for trial, including how to manage
witnesses.

Effective and cost efficient use of experts.

How to hold effective case conferences.

Current requirements for pre-trial conferences.

How to use alternate dispute resolution effectively.

How to manage cases accepted on a contingency/
success fee basis. This includes effective budgeting.

Cancellation of workshop?
Any person who has registered for a seminar and fails to
cancel (in writing) at least 48 hours prior to the seminar,
shall be held liable for the payment. All refunds must be
claimed in writing not more than 15 business days after
cancellation.
Limited seats are available at all centres and registrations
will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
LEAD reserves the right to cancel a learning activity should
the number of delegates not justify the costs involved.
Registered delegates will be given reasonable notice of
cancellation.
