Versus Game Show
Win It In Two
Minutes !!
Long before the popular NBC TV
Minute to Win It Show, we
created the fastest moving,
highest energy, and most unique
school assembly on the block that
challenges students with fun,
educational, yet easy challenges.
This is by far our most popular
school game show.
Versus is an exciting and high energy game show that involves all or
most of the students in the audience. It’s Left Vs. Right, Red vs. Blue,
Team 1 vs. Team 2.
Challenges can vary (and be expanded) but
usually include: Trivia Face Off, Connect 4, Hula
Hoops, Word Scramble, and others. We usually
alternate between challenges and grade levels.
The best part is that each challenge involves 12
-20 students at a time and lasts no more than
TWO Minutes. The countdown clock is shown
on a large video screen for indoor events or a
LED Scoreboard for outdoor events. Twelve
student challenges and a teacher round are
played in a sixty minute time frame.
Trivia Blitz is our most basic and longest
running trivia game show. Up to twelve
participants at four contestant podiums
answer high speed questions. Material is
about academics at their grade level (for assemblies) or pop culture
and academics (for other events) from our energetic emcee is
included. Can be run inside or outside. Teachers and parents get to
participate as well. Modifications can be made with Family Nights to
lighten it up a bit with some physical challenges. Games cycle every
five minutes with 72 students and 8 teachers actually getting to
“press the button” in a sixty-minute program. For modifications, see
new Smarty Pants game
show or Big Picture
Blast. m. Uses free
standing podiums.
All Play the Wireless Game Show !!!
This game is scripted for each school and can by vary by grade level
groups. It’s even awesome for family nights. Add a memorable soundtrack
of kids’ favorites and you have what
Michael, a second grader called “The
Best Assembly Ever”.
Versus II and III now available for
schools who have already booked
Versus I. See

Interactive Trivia
Blitz Game Show
All Play is a wireless audience response type game that simulates
the audience interaction of tv show 1 Vs. 100.
School events
generally use 28
buzzers divided
into four teams.
Questions are
projected on a
screen. The active 28 respond by
using their remote control. After each
question the computer shows
individual and team results. The audience always gets excited about
this game. All Play is very unique to Game Show Gurus.
All Play has been recently
upgraded with new buzzers
and now can support up to
250 buzzers! Game design
for this format can vary.

Elementary School Summary
Rev: September 2014
Smarty Pants
Smarty Pants is the latest addition to the Game Show Gurus family. It is a
cross between Trivia Blitz, Big Picture Blast, and All Play in which teams
Using the same contestant podiums that we use during Trivia Blitz, four
teams of three or four are invited on stage. In this game, the four buttons
on the podiums (labeled A-B-C-D) mean something. A question is shown
on the screen with multiple choices. Each team must decide what the
correct answer is by pressing the correct lettered button on their podium.
After each team buzzes in, we can show the correct answer on the screen
and reveal how each team did. If the team gets it correct, they get the
points, if they get it wrong, they lose points.
This game is cool because it requires teamwork on the part of the players,
doesn’t make the players talk (although we might banter with them asking
why they chose an answer), and that all teams get a
chance to play. The audience can play along
because they can try to shout answers out, but it is
ultimately up to the contestants.
This game show normally uses four podiums, but
additional podiums are possible. Material is multiple
choice and can be supplied by the school or use our
standard questions. Some material can have audio or visual bytes, just like
in Big Picture Blast.
Extreme Bingo
Bingo modified for the multimedia
generation. Great for family nights.
Ballistic Bingo Classic
Traditional bingo with a video projected game
board, enhanced with music, backdrops, and
moving lights.
Video Bingo—Custom game cards are
printed with our special software. We play
music videos, cartoons, Schoolhouse Rock, movie trailers, or any
visual, When participants see a video that it is also on their board,
they mark it. Five in a row wins. Can be use kid’s videos or any
type of video or picture as well.
Visual Trivia Bingo—Trivia questions meets Bingo. We project
visual questions on our screen. Find the answer on your Bingo
board.
Survey Says ?
Always a popular game show format, Survey Says? is formatted after the Family
Feud game show. The top six to eight answers to our surveys are on the board.
Two teams of five try to guess the answers. Games cycle after about ten minutes.
Complete with contestant pens, face off podium, game board, host, emcee,
lights, and more.
Trivia Ladder
Using a set of colored “contestant buttons” linked to one of several software
programs, which we can place either on stage or in the audience .
Trivia Ladder uses up to ten teams (soon to be 20). A multiple choice
question is shown on the screen.
Player “buzzes” in. If they get
answer correct, they move up on
the prize board. If they get it wrong,
they move down. More details
online.
Big Picture Blast
From the growing list of proprietary game shows that we have
designed, comes Big Picture Blast. It is always said that students
learn better when they can visualize a concept, so why not make a
game show based on this?
In Big Picture Blast, our video screen has PowerPoint based
questions with educational content. Questions include: picture
recognition, math problems, word
scrambles, multiple choice
questions, sound bites, etc.
Runs similar to Interactive Trivia
Blitz with a video screen. This
really helps younger kids. The set
has been redesigned since 2012.
Mini Trivia Blitz Game Show
Designed for kids parties (5-11 years old), Scout events,
and small assemblies.
Following a similar format as our larger Interactive Trivia Blitz,
our miniature trivia game show is run by
only one of our staff Gurus instead of the
two that all of our other game shows
require. It also has a smaller footprint.
See also new Mini Versus for small
groups.
For
Large Scale Fund Raisers
Instead of an auction, for larger
events, consider our “Game
Show Give Away” which is
designed loosely in the style of The Price is Right. During a
fundraiser, guests (usually adults), get a chance to come up on
stage to win by playing games of chance. Get sponsors. Sell tickets
and chances to win big prizes. See
www.giganticgameshowgiveaway.com for more details. This
show was
originally
designed for
casinos and event
marketing but
also great for you.
