Mayor Lutz a. 2nd Quarter Marriage Report. b. Mayor Lutz noted that National Night out will be held at Glatfelter Field on August 1, 2016 from 5-8pm. The Borough will have a recycling stand and the Police Department will have a safety awareness stand at the event. Standing Committee Assignments 10. The Committee on Finance a. Consider approval of May 2017 Financial Reports including Check Register Report, Treasurer’s Report, Budget Performance Reports: General Fund, Capital Fund, State Fund (Liquid Fuels), Waste Water Fund and Municipal Authority and Capital Fund. b. Consider approval of 2017 Budget Change #2, as presented. c. Consider a request as presented by “Our Home of Hope” (a 501-3 non-profit) to be located at 223-225 Cherry Street for financial assist, in the amount of $5,993.88 (Columbia Borough Back Taxes for 2015-2016 + interest and penalties to be verified by CB Finance Manager) to clear back taxes owed to the Borough of Columbia. Contingent upon verification of amount of amount owed to the Borough, upon the full transfer of ownership from “Cherry Street Home, Inc.” to “Our Home of Hope”. No funds or abatement of Borough Taxes (2015-2016) will be transacted until after settlement and verification of title in the name of “Our Home of Hope” 501c-3. d. Consider approval of a Grant Agreement between CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health and Columbia Borough in the amount of $18,000 for the purchase of a XRF Device and development of policies and procedures to assist with the safety of Borough residents. e. Consider approval of the C. S. Davidson recommendation for Mountville Motors Sales, located at 806 Lancaster Avenue, Columbia for a public improvement security escrow, as presented in the C. S. Davidson June 16, 2017 letter, with attachment. f. III. IV. Consider the request of the Columbia Public Library to waiver all Columbia Borough Permit fees associated with their Building Addition Project at 24 South 6th Street. g.
