Goal of Free Day at PJCC? Get Moving!
(Foster City, Calif., September 15) – On Sunday, September 25, the Peninsula Jewish
Community Center (PJCC) in Foster City is inviting the entire community to swim and exercise
free throughout the entire day. The invitation is part of the Center’s Health and Fitness Open
House, which also includes free group exercise classes, fitness assessments, chair massages
and more.
“Our doors will be open free of charge the entire day,” said PJCC Athletic Center Director, Vova
Ekhilevsky. “Guests can swim and work out all day, and between the hours of 11am-2pm, we’re
also offering complimentary group exercise classes such as Zumba, Pilates Reformer, yoga and
more.” He added that the great thing about fitness is that it can be whatever you want it to be,
so long as physical activity is involved. “You can walk on the treadmill, work out with weights,
take a group or water exercise class, swim, play basketball, try kickboxing, whatever you like.
The goal is to incorporate physical activity in your daily life, which improves your health. We’re
here to help.”
The Center will be open from 7am to 8pm and special Open House festivities are scheduled
between 11am and 2pm. To learn more, visit www.pjcc.org/openhouse.
The PJCC is proud of its diverse, multi-cultural membership and is located at 800 Foster City
