School of Excellence player of year goes beyond just the playing on the
court although this is an important element. It involves sportsmanship,
respect to coaches, officials and their teammates.

It should act as a motivator both for players to push themselves to achieve
this recognition as well as the player receiving it to motivate themselves to
work even harder in the future.

Tonight’s winner will also join us at the Corporate Dinner to be represented
with the trophy.

This player has made his way through our programme to achieve the
ultimate goal playing for the Newcastle Eagles BBL team.
