This summer, The First Tee of Metropolitan New York will feature the Path to College STEM Golf
Summer Enrichment Program. Daily activities include golf, fitness, life skills, Certification, education &
literacy instruction, tutoring, coding, nutrition instruction, on course play, games and competitions.
PATH TO COLLEGE STEM GOLF SUMMER ENRICHMENT
PROGRAM
(ages 7 and up):
Intended for juniors who have BEGINNER to INTERMEDIATE level playing experience and are
interested in academic support during the summer.
PATH TO COLLEGE STEM GOLF SUMMER ENRICHMENT
PROGRAM CURRICULUM
Includes: STEM Education, Literacy Instruction, Golf instruction, Certification classes, coding (NEW this
summer!), Field trips, Fun activities, Tutoring, Golf lessons and much more.
ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT CURRICULUM:
Participants will receive opportunities to engage in educational planning workshops, literacy instruction,
coding, standardized test preparation, educational/recreational field trips, and individualized academic
preparation.
STEM EDUCATION CURRICULUM:
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Participants will have the opportunity to
test water quality, collect soil samples, identify plants, preserve wildlife habitats, and learn about the
ecology, conservation and environmental aspects of golf courses. The Mosholu Golf Course will be
used as an environmental learning lab to facilitate the connections between golf courses and STEM
education.
PATH TO COLLEGE SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE:
8:30am – Arrival
8:45am to 9:15am - Fitness warm-up
9:15am to 12:30 pm– Certification classes, STEM Education classes, Literacy Instruction,
Coding, Golf Instruction (Snack and water breaks included)
12:30pm to 1:30pm – Lunch
1:30pm to 4:15pm – Individual Tutoring, Test Preparation Workshops, Golf lessons, On-course play
4:15pm to 4:45pm- Sports and Fun Activities
4:45pm – Departure

$500 per week/per child
Discounts for Multiple Weeks
4 or more weeks -20% off
2 or more weeks -10% off
Weeks do not have to be consecutive but must
be signed up for all at the same time to receive
the discount.
Need-Base Scholarship Assistance
Qualifications: For active participants in
certifying classes, who are in need of financial
assistance. Must contact the Path to College
team to request a consultation.

Summer Camp Policies
1. Deposits must be made to register. Payment can be made in the form of cash, credit card or money order.
2. There are NO REFUNDS, ALL SALES ARE FINAL! (Make ups allowed, based on availability).
3. All interested participants MUST be between the ages of 7 and 17 at the start of the desired week.
