2017 Match Play Events at French Creek GC
Sign-ups have begun for French Creek’s Season-Long Match Play Championships! So grab a partner, or
ask the Golf Shop to find you one, then check your schedule for this year’s Season-Long Match Play
Championships!
New for 2017, the Men’s and Women’s Senior and Senior-Senior Club Championships will now be season-long match
play events. Please see the Golf Shop for more details and information on these great events. You may sign up now
by going to the tournament registration page at www.frenchcreekgolf.com. If you do not have a partner for the
Men’s Two-man Season-Long or the Couples Season-Long Tournaments, the Golf Shop will help find you
a partner!!
Men’s Four-Ball Match Play Championship
Format: Better-Ball of Partners, Match Play. 90% of handicap at time of match. The lower handicap player in a
match will play as scratch with the other three players receiving 100% of the difference. All matches should be
arranged with the golf shop and official scorecards will be printed for each match. The end of season payout will be
in Golf Shop credit based upon number of teams entered.
Reminder: If you do not have a partner, the Pro Shop will help you find a partner.
Entry Fee: $50 per Team ($25 per player)
Tees: BLUE. Players or teams playing from the White or Green tees will have their course handicap adjusted based upon the USGA
section 3-5 (Players Competing from Different Tees) If you wish to move forward, 75% of rounds posted at French Creek must to be from
that specific tee.
Match dates and deadlines will be determined by the number of teams in the field.
Richard Boswell Memorial Cup – Men’s Individual Match Play Championship
Format: Individual, Match Play. 90% of handicap at time of match. The lower handicap player in a match will play
as scratch with the other player receiving 100% of the difference. All matches should be arranged with the golf shop
and official scorecards will be printed for each match. The end of season payout will be in Golf Shop credit based
upon number of teams entered.
Entry Fee: $25 per player

the number one seed. Remaining seeds will be seeded by handicap. All matches should be arranged with the golf
