PRESS RELEASE – xxx, UAE: Yas Island, known for its wide selection of restaurants, lounges and cafés, will be
hosting the first ever Taste of Abu Dhabi from 06-08 November at du Arena, an event set to become the
capital’s favourite food, drink and music festival. Fantastic voucher giveaways to be found at Yas Island’s Taste
of Abu Dhabi booth mean visitors will also get a taste of the island’s many attractions.
“Home to 59 restaurants, lounges and cafés, all within minutes of seven hotels and attractions the entire family
will want to enjoy, Yas Island is not just hosting your access to Abu Dhabi’s culinary world, it is offering a unique

‘Tasty’ voucher is worth double its value if used on the same day, so Taste of Abu Dhabi visitors are encouraged
to bring their swimwear and be ready to make a splash on 45 rides, slides and attractions. The Ferrari World Abu
Dhabi voucher can be redeemed for the opportunity to enjoy unforgettable experiences telling the Ferrari story,
including the world’s fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa and a meal at Ristoranti Cavallino.
Activities for the entire family will be found at the Yas Island booth, and complementary cotton candy and
slushies will be given out to visitors who would like to sample a taste of Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi without
getting wet.
During this first time event, recipes from popular Yas Island dining establishments will be shared on social media
channels, so visitors can test their favourites out, and then visit Yas Island to see if their culinary skills match
those of the island’s world class chefs.
“We hope visitors will bring a healthy appetite for great food, and for adventure, when they visit this special
event,” said Itani.
Presented by the organisers of Taste of Dubai and the publishers of Abu Dhabi Week, Taste of Abu Dhabi will
feature 50 exhibitors and a number of world class chefs, many of whom will be demonstrating the preparation
of their signature dishes in cookery theatres to live audiences.
All participating chefs and artists staying at the Yas Plaza hotels will be able to enjoy the complimentary yas
express shuttle service to du Arena during Taste of Abu Dhabi. The yas express will stop for pick-ups and dropoffs in front of the Yas Island Rotana in Yas Plaza.
