Agreement to Connect and Disconnect
CONNECT
To connect, you must first bring your address and the name
of the utility company to the Housing Office. At that time,
you will fill out a service application that will be faxed to the
utility company, and service will commence the next business
day. (If a later date to begin service is desired, this date may
be entered on the application.) You will also sign an
agreement authorizing and allowing the release of
information regarding your address and payment history to
be shared among Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union, the utility
company, the Housing Office, the Fort Bragg Command and
any other duty station to which you are assigned.
The agreement includes, but is not limited to, the
following: utility customer is solely responsible for the
utility bills; application can be denied based on past
financial records; and the customer will reimburse the
credit union for any payments made on customer’s
behalf as a result of this guarantee. Such payments may
be transferred, at the credit union’s discretion, from
the customer/member’s account. The UDWP is not a
bill paying service. Electric service is not guaranteed by
the credit union. The Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union,
the Fort Bragg Command and the Housing Office will
not assist with any dispute involving the utility and the
customer.
