PARISH
Maintenance Manager – FT
The Maintenance Manager is responsible to coordinate maintenance, repair and cleaning of the churches
and school. The Maintenance manager takes initiative in meeting the physical needs of the parish and
school and is responsible to maintain a clean and orderly environment. Must possess a valid MN Driver’s
License.
School / Parish Custodian - FT
The custodian primarily works to maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment at Assumption School.
Other duties will include routine cleaning at the parish center and religious education area. The custodian
works in cooperation with the maintenance manager.
Parish Center Housekeeper – PT
The Parish Center Housekeeper is responsible to clean offices and staff related space at the parish center.
Two days per week.
Secretary- PT
The part-time secretary will support the work of the priests and the parish staff and will fill in for the
parish secretary as needed. In addition to possessing traditional office skills, the secretary is responsible to
create, update and maintain sacramental records. Must be proficient in working with database programs,
Microsoft Word and Excel, and display excellent communications skills. This may lead to full-time
employment.

SCHOOL
Teachers - FT
Assumption Catholic School in Hibbing has full-time elementary-level teaching positions available for
the 2016-2017 school year. The teacher will instruct classes in all academic areas and grade appropriate
religion curriculum. Applicants must have valid Minnesota teaching license at the appropriate grade
level. Copies of appropriate certificates, qualifications and transcripts must be submitted before a job offer
will be made. Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church preferred.
