This isn't about finishing a speech on time: it's about finishing the year with a bang! With each new member your Club comes
closer to meeting a Distinguished Club Program new member goal. In addition, Clubs adding five new, dual, or reinstated
members during these two months earn a choice of one item from The Better Speaker Series or The Successful Club Series.
These short (7-15 minute) educational modules focus on speaking and Club success, with topics such as Take the Terror out of a
Talk, Evaluate to Motivate, Impromptu Speaking, and many more.

Completed applications and the appropriate funds must be received at World Headquarters between May 1 and June 30, 2000.
Applications postmarked by June 30, 2000, must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time July 7, 2000. Each member's
"join date" as listed on the application must be no later than June 2000.
