Digital Analytics Intern
StringCan Interactive, a strategic digital marketing agency, is located in Scottsdale, Arizona with an
additional office in Paris, France to serve our clients in Europe. In the digital marketing industry,
most companies focus on tactics such as how to use Facebook. At StringCan, we believe that
without a strategic plan our client’s time and money are not effectively being leveraged to generate
results. We focus on getting strategic results by putting our strategy first, tactics second!
A StringCan internship will provide a unique opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience at
a growing digital marketing agency. Jay Feitlinger, a digital marketing and serial entrepreneurship
expert with 15 years of experience founded StringCan in 2010. Our interns don’t sit at a computer
doing boring data entry or run errands; instead, they will be given client and agency responsibilities
that assist in digital marketing initiatives. Interns will gain hands-on experience with our clients and
marketing projects.

A smart, agile thinker (can foster creative, out-of-the-box solutions)
Easy-going personality, where you don’t easily get flustered or frustrated
Passion to learn about internet marketing, market research and business development
Proven organization and self-managed ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
A Statistics, Finance, Business or Marketing major is preferred but not required
What will you be doing?
Digital Analytics Interns will have the opportunity to get involved in every facet of our Digital
Marketing Strategy, including:
● Working closely with Google Analytics for website analytics and tracking
● Watching specific metrics and completing weekly tracking and reporting for clients
● Responsible for online reputation monitoring and reporting
● Search Engine Marketing (SEM) both organic, paid and local search
Internship Specifics
This opportunity is available to college students or to those who recently graduated. The internship
will run for about 3 months. Opportunity for internship extension and/or a position in our
Scottsdale office may result. A typical schedule would be multiple days a week, 15-20 hours per
week. This 12-week program is a paid internship and we can customize the program to fit
requirements for school credits.
