Dear Parent/Carer,
Re: Healthy Fun and Games Morning and Picnic
As part of their learning on healthy living, the nursery will be holding a healthy fun and games
morning and picnic on Tuesday 27th June 9.15 – 12pm.
This event is for all nursery children and their parents/carers to attend together. Each child
will need to be accompanied by an adult – we want to use this opportunity for the children
and parents/carers to get to know each other before they start Reception in September.
It will be a great social event with lots of learning about being healthy and active. Children and
adults will take part in lots of games and activities. There will be music, dancing, a bouncy
castle and lots more.
The nursery will be closed on this day. Please arrive on the school field at 9.15am to be
registered. The fun and games will end with a picnic.
We ask everyone to bring a healthy picnic lunch to enjoy after our activities.
Ideas for healthy lunch:
- A sandwich or pasta
- Cucumber or carrot sticks
- Fruit
- Yogurt or cheese
