Important notes regarding your registration:

The Open League Season is scheduled to run for the whole year, which includes 27
weeks of Regular rounds, 3 weeks of Playoffs and a ‘Best of 3 Finals Series’. In addition
to this, the top 20 MVP vote getters are invited to play at the annual All Star Game.

The Development Social League (Filcom D-League) Summer Season is scheduled to run
for half a year, which includes 11 weeks of Regular rounds, 2 weeks of Playoff rounds
and the Finals. Please see the Rules and Regulations for the Competition Structure.

The Filcom Basketball 2017 Season commences on Saturday 11 Feb 2017.

Please submit your Team Registration Form together with your deposit of $200 by Friday
03 Feb 2017. Then select the payment option you would like above.

Registration fee covers court hire, referees, court managers, scoresheet, iPad Operators,
Championship shirts for (D-League) and Championship Rings (for O-League). The fee
also covers sports injury insurance and public liability cover.


By signing this registration form, you agree that you will abide by the rules by-laws of Filcom Basketball
League. You agree to pay all fees on the set date. Failure to pay on time may result in a forfeit or
removal from the competition.
Any team or player deemed unfinancial or has been suspended may be reported to other basketball
leagues such as Basketball ACT and CPL (Canberra Players League).
You agree that Filcom Basketball games may be photographed and videotaped and such material will
be published in Filcom Sports Club website, Filcom Basketball website, Facebook page and youtube
channel.

 The information collected is used for the administration of the competitions run by Filcom Basketball League. Your information is kept in confidence
and will not be shared without permission.
 Email addresses will be included into the Filcom Basketball email list or newsletter to inform players of schedule, updates and Filcom related news.
Team eligibility and requirements:
Open League: Filcom Open Age Men Social Division
 For full details of team requirements, please read the Filcom Basketball Rules and Regulations.
 A team must nominate a minimum of 7 or maximum of 15 players. Only 10 players are allowed to play per game.
 A team can have upto two (2) BACT A Grade players in the lineup. For a definition of A Grade please refer to the Filcom Basketball Rules and
Regulations (referred here as the Rules).
 Your team is required nominate a minimum of two players to attend Referee Training. Failure to do so will incur a penalty as per the Rules.
 Your team is required to nominate a minimum of two players to attend iPad Stats Training. Failure to do so will a penalty as per the Rules.
 Players registered in CPL Div 1, Premiere Div 2 or higher are ineligible to play in Filcom Basketball Open League.
D-League: Filcom Development Social Division
 Male players must be 35 yrs and over OR 20 years and younger.
 A team can include a maximum of two female players in the lineup.
 Maximum of 5 male players aged 21 to 34 years of age will be accepted in the lineup at the discretion of the D-League Committee.
