PRIMARY SELECTION RESULTS OF CONCEPT PAPER
UNDER INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH GRANTS
The Institutions selected in primary round of evaluation of concept paper submitted to UGC for
institutional research grants within the following clusters are requested to develop detailed
proposal under the prescribed format. The proposal should be submitted within 12th Asadh 2066
(26th June 2009).
The primary selection list includes the following clusters;
1. Humanities and Law
2. Science and Technology
Detailed proposal must be delivered, along with application form, to UGC on or before 12th
Asadh 2066 (26th June 2009), in hard copy as well as in CD version. Please visit our website:
www.ugcnepal.edu.np for application form, prescribed format of proposal and other information.
Final selection will be made on the basis of the submitted detailed proposal and given evaluation
criteria.

SECTION III: BUDGETING
Provide with a tabular form of detailed information related to the cost of this study including research costs, experimentation, books,
study visits, seminar disseminations, technology and equipments, patents, publications, and printing and stationary, fringe contribution
for the parent institution for the development of research infrastructure, etc. Also mention the various sources of funding. The financial
contribution provided by UGC may not be sufficient to meet all study expenses.

Note:
*The marking will be calculated on the basis of maximum score.
** The young graduates and faculty exclude the team leader. The young graduate refers to the person
completing masters’ degree within five years till the date of submission of the proposal or master’s level student
having completed course work and undergoing thesis work but the age limit in both the cases is 40 years.
Please note that for detail proposal team leader cannot be changed. He/she remains the same as
mentioned in the Concept Paper.
